Staghorn Sunday

Staghorn Fern

  'thinking of you frondly"
Thank you all for being my frond, I am so very frond of all of you.

Note to all of you that read yesterday post on my glasses.

I have been wearing glasses since 1992 and have never had any problems at all. the fact that not one but two factories that make the lens, made mistakes, is scary. these errors had nothing to do with the Optical shops at all. Also has nothing to do with our insurance.

Indeed - and has something to do with the whole process being automated and only as good as the numbers being punched in by the operator - not an actual optical tech... Lovely staghorn! YAM xx

Hello,

I understand the mistake was made by the factories. But, I think they should be checked to be sure they are correct before the customers goes to pick them up. Your staghorn is beautiful. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for setting me straight! :)
That staghorn is so cool. I think I'd smile at it every time I pulled in the driveway.

That Staghorn loves living with you!!

The glass saga all due to the factory. Thank goodness you have a optician who is determined to get it right.

Well, now I have a better idea of what a staghorn is. Thought iI'd be seeing a photo of a beast with 4 feet.

Holy smokes I just read your ordeal with your glasses, WOW!! Yeah, when I get mine in the guy has me sit down put them on and has me read some lines to make sure I can see properly, then he will adjust the frames to my face. I don't leave there until everything is right. I can't believe all that you went through, that's just craziness!

That Staghorn is beautiful...I have not had a hanging plant in ages. Maybe this year I will get one or more.

You're right, it is unsettling. I love the plant with the sun on it!!! The leaves do look like elk or deer horns. Must weigh a ton now.

I've always had a fondness for the Staghorn fern. I tried, unsuccessfully , I might add to grow one years ago.

That Staghorn is simply amazing.
Sadly I think more and more places are failing to do the work right

These are great photos. Staghorn plants always look like they should be in a prehistoric forest to me.
