NOTE: I will be taking Tuesday off, we have two doctor appts on that day and a few odd things I have to do.. see you on Wed.
For the past 3 years, veggies have become a big dill to me. Red peppers and mini cucumbers have become my favorites for snacks. I am sharing this info with you because I love you from my head tomatoes.....
There are just 16 calories in a cup of cucumber with its peel
(15 without). You will get about 4 percent of your daily potassium, 3 percent
of your daily fiber and 4 percent of your daily vitamin C. They also
"provide small amounts of vitamin K, vitamin C, magnesium, potassium,
manganese and vitamin A,

I give priority to vegetables and then to meat ... I can live better without meat!
Hello,
I love most veggies, just not cucumbers. I hope all goes well with the appointments. Have a great day!
I like cucumbers. I bought a couple cucumbers at Walmart a week or so ago. They were small but that was ok. When I sliced one it was so green it wasn't even funny. Won't buy their dinky cucumbers any more.

I LOVE cukes... I do eat tomato, but need to be a bit careful as it can aggravate the arthritis. Hope all goes well tomorrow. YAM xx
Both give me enough gas to fuel a trip to the store for cookies.
But, you go girl!
LOL at Anni's comment...I did not know cucumbers were such big deal...but I do like dill in my pickles....I wonder if dill pickles count. But I love them, and now tat I know how good they are for a person, I will try to remember to eat more.
It goes without saying that I totally love tomatoes.
ps..you have a spammer first comment...I guess I best go check my blogs as they have been hitting me too.
Raw veggies are so good for us! All these good vitamins are kept alive! Have a good week my friend!
Always a favorite for me too. I watched a documentary last night which mentioned so many times that veggies are better for your energy level then animal protein. This lazy bum is going to the to get me some veggies, yum... Enjoy your day!
You're talking my love language! I've not yet those mini cukes, but their big siblings were a fixture in my cart all last summer. Then, *poof*! They'd begin to die a slow death in the crisper. I suspect it all comes down to my craving only certain foods in hot weather. (And vice-versa)
ANYway, I love this bright colored photo!
Thanks for the head's up on tomorrow's appointments away from Blogland.
Good luck at the doctor tomorrow.
Now that you made such a big dill of cucumbers - I have to put it on my grocery list!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOL BOL BOL a big dill I love them and red peppers! What great snacks
Good luck tomorrow. If you get a chance, tomorrow, check the blog Kat has a wonderful video to share.
Hugs Cecilia
We love a big salad with just about everything I can find thrown in it! Louis Dean LOVES cucumbers! He always buys too many and then they spoil. I like celery, too. You burn more calories eating celery than you consume! We are all out of any fresh produce right now. Only potatoes and onions! I really need to go shopping!
Prayers for you and Bob....today and every day.....
I'm a big fan of both mini cucumbers and peppers!! Thanks for the info!
Thinking of you all and sending prayers!
Big Dill for sure!!!
I love cukes but Dave dislikes them with a passion. He's forever picking them out of the salad.
My mom used to make them with a vinegar and sugar marinade. I could eat the whole thing all by myself.
Red Peppers are my favorite...so glad they are good for me too.
Hoping all goes well with the appointments tomorrow...time to put an end to that saga.
Feeling better today..Yesterday was a good recharging day for us.
Still battling the pounds but onward and upward...no not upward...downward!! haha
I love cucumbers too, but have not seen any mini ones. I will look for them. All the best for the doctors appts. I have one tomorrow too, in Bakersfield.
Thanks for the reminder that I have a cucumber in the fridge which needs to be eaten.
I love cucumbers, the big ones. I cut them up and store them in water in the frig so they're easy to eat when I need a snack.
Good luck with your appointments.
They are a big 'dill' to me too, lol! I grew up on cucumbers, sandwiches mostly. Mum used to slice them thin, butter the bread and cut the crusts off :)
My comment disappeared, evidently in retaliation for my pun theft: I could feel it from my head tomatoes!
I love both, I buy them every week!
