The NOOK is clean,
so says the queen,
I wish I had never ever even seen
all the glass that makes me feel mean.
this mirror mirror on the wall
that makes me want to bawl and bawl.
30 years of cleaning glass,
that makes me want to kick my own _____
Can you find Bob?
This LABEL has 16 posts about the NOOK. there are many more, I just forgot to label them. Every Christmas post has photos of the nook.
YES, we like the lights year round.
The white glitter is what it really looks like, the gold glitter is with the beauty filter on my phone camera.

That's a LOT of work! The pictures are pretty, though. :)
It is gorgeous, and I bet not half as pretty without the lights. You did a great job with the cleaning. What a chore! I see Bob! Phil wants to know if he uses sunblock.
Beautiful! Washing your precious glass ornaments takes time and care, but set up so prettily in your nook must give you a lot of pleasure. A satisfying feeling to see the sparkle and a job well done.

soooooo pretty! YAM xx
Oh Sandra...this is absolutely stunning! With the time to keep it clean, I'm sure it's not fun. Each piece is a treasure tho.
The nook is absolutely beautiful. I would hate having to keep that clean though. In my house it would be coated in dust most of the time.
Hello,
Your Nook is beautiful. I just love the lights and reflections.
You did a great job cleaning. Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day, have a happy new week!
Kudos to you dedication to all that glass. I would turn around and find fingerprints as soon as I put the cleaning supplies away.
I see Bob; can he see me?
I love your poem...I found Bob. I thoughtbhwcwoukd be in second pic and thought I was going to have to tell you I could not, but the minute I clicked on the first I seen him...would not have had to click if I had been on computer
Yep, THERE he is!
I can imagine that cleaning's no fun ... but doesn't it make you happy to look at it? (I'm remembering how sad I got when Tom insisted on putting away the Christmas tree lights.) These pictures look like something right out of a Disney movie!
Sandra I know it must be a J O B x 100 to keep everything sparkling but Oh my it is gorgeous. I spy Bob...I hope he is feeling ok I know he is anxious for the next dr. visit
Hugs Cecilia
Beautiful. You have such an inviting nook with the twinkle lights and all that glass.
Most of my knick knacks are behind glass in my hutch.
I keep looking at my dust on one of my tables...but does it get dusted? I can only see the dust in the morning light so I tend to ignore it the rest of the day..
Let's face it...I'm a lazy housekeeper.
Hoping Bob had a better night's sleep and that you did too.
Just one more sleep !!
(((hugs)))

I saw Bob. Gee those are gorgeous, but a lot of work!
Looks so sparkly and beautiful...but I can only imagine how much work it is to keep it that way!!
The NOOK is a beautiful addition to your home. The lights add a wonderful glow.
Oh you do make me laugh with your prose. and your nooks is truly beautiful! I have enjoyed all your photos of this pretty area since I've known you. It looks magical with its fairy lights. And your glass pieces are gorgeous!
You have a lovely collection of glass for sure. I bet it takes a lot of work to keep it dust free.
It just gorgeous. It's like a fairy tale and Tiffany's all come together. I love how creative and fabulous you are. Just keep cleaning, girl.....
Yes, I did see Bob in the recliner and hope his recovery is going well, Sandra. The glassware is lovely and the lights are a great addition. While dusting/ cleaning them might be a chore, it’s not something you expect to do daily.
It looks so pretty. I love it! Always enjoy seeing it.
I SPY Bob!!!! LOVE your nook!! The only thing that would be common to BOTH of our homes! You and I differ on many things but that nook is our common ground! Among a few oter things I am sure! It sparkles and shines!!! How often do you have to clean it? I do our doll cases twice a year. Everything else is up for grabs. I didn't do the cases this year - yet - since I THOUGHT I would be getting new carpet by now.....
