HIS EYE LID WAS SEWED CLOSED!
Think Frankenstein!
the one with the red arrow is the cancer site, The donor site and the cancer site still have a lot of stitches, but the good news is, they will dissolve, the better news is the only thing he has to be careful of is bumping it at night and infection. no treatment other than 7 days of antibiotics.
She suggested he not get over heated because of sweating.
other than that we are good to go..that means he can walk with me and Big Boy!
This might look like The End but he has to go back in one week for her to makes sure it is healing well.
YAY! another PHUN drive.... each time we go I trim the time. Today was 40 minutes
We are celebrating with Chicken Tenders , Baked Beans and White Mountain Bread from Publix Deli.

So glad all went well...glad he can go for walks with you and know he is, too.
Well for sure the worst is over. I guess he can swim after next week hopefully. I say that is a fine celebration! LOL the deli was calling your name I bet.
Hugs cecilia
Hurrah!!! His face looks good! All is well, happy dance. Hope you have a great meal!
I'm so glad you are both surviving this ordeal! And I know he will be on the mend now! My hubby brought home chicken from Publix deli today too. Like you say...it was RIGHT THERE! heehee!
Yay! So glad he is over that and it is now behind you both and that the food counter in Publix was right there!!! Onward and upward :)
So glad that Bob is through the worst and you got through all the stressful moments of the day. Great that you could get a takeaway. Walks sound good. I continue to pray for you both and for a good recovery.
YAYAY! Wonderful news!!!
It's look good. Glad it went well. Hope he follows the instructions. Your meals sounds yummy!
Just got home and was soooo glad to see this! But I've got questions. (You knew I would, didn't you.) You mean those people outside in their cars can just see in the exam room what the doctor's doing? I don't care if I am fully clothed, not sure I'd like that. Did they give Bob one of those little metal cups to put over his eye at night? I mean, how is he supposed to keep from bumping it when he's fast asleep? He looks GOOD!
The surgery site looks better than I would have expected. Good to hear that things are moving in the right direction .
That meal sounded pretty good to me from Publix.
So he can walk with you again - what about his pool?
He looked pretty good.
Deli sounds good to me! A celebratory meal is at hand!!
The eye looks pretty darn terrific! As for out walking in this heat (and sweating)...tie a rolled bandana around the forehead to keep the sweat from running in his eye.
Keep up the good news for us Sandra. And, Bob, stay well, heal, and listen to Sandra, your guardian of love.
That looks painful to me. So glad he can do things again and I bet he is too
Praise God and thank you, Jesus!! You get your LIFE back!! And so does Bob!
You did right to celebrate!
Good afternoon, how are you? I am Brazilian, from Rio de Janeiro and looking for new followers for my blog. And I will follow yours with pleasure. New friends are also welcome, no matter the distance.

I'm glad it went well, but sorry the trip is so bad. When I had cataract surgery they gave me a plastic patch to tape over my eye when I went to bed so I wouldn't hurt it in my sleep. It looked something like this.
So happy that's almost all done. One more trip will be a breeze now that you know the route. And I think Bob is such a good sport to let you take his picture after surgery. So glad he is done with this whole experience and can walk with you and Big Boy again.

Looking better... soon it will be the best... YAM xx
I imagine Bob is about ready to dive in the pool! I'm glad it went well and hopefully he will be 100% soon!
I am so grateful that it went well!!!!!!
