Sitting at my desk top I heard a huge crash, I screamed down the hall OVER the noise of drag racing on TV and said something just fell on the roof.
It was a big limb, the avocados got so heavy it broke off.
We are thankful that there was no damage, that and thankful the limb removed itself from the roof all by itself.
There were 21 big ones and11 tiny ones.
the big ones were almost 2 ls's each and that is a dinner plate the two are on. there were 4 that size,
the others are 3 to a dinner plate.
I told you a couple of weeks ago they were not edible, but Bob had one, 2 days ago that was good.
We put all those in the bottom right square on a chair at the end of the driveway with a free sign.
they disapeared quickly.
We took 6 to the YMCA for 2 friends and kept the two big ones for Bob.
Bob is thankful they are edible!
I am thankful for Blog Post Fodder!

What cute edits! The first edit is actually beautiful. Wow, it looks like it busted through the window! YES, so thankful that all's well that ends well!
P.S. did it scare Big Boy?
That's some impressive tree and avocados! I love Ava.
I'm thankful the branch came off the roof by itself and you didn't have any damage. They look lovely.

...and I am just envious of your having your own avos!!! YAM xx
Hello,
I am glad your roof was not damaged. Your photos are cute, great edits on the avocados. It is a shame that some of the avocados are not edible. I did not know that could get that big. Take care, enjoy your day!
Guacamole! I've often wondered if I started a tree with a grocery store pit, if it would grow here. I love avacado. And AVA is darling.
Glad there was no damage (did Bob hear the "crash" while watching tv?)
Wow, that's a lot of avocados on one branch. Glad it removed itself from the roof and didn't cause any damage.
Your edits are too cute.
Glad to know there wasn't any damage. Interesting to see such large avocados. They must have weighed down that branch. Lots of clearing up to do afterwards. Cute edits.
Oh m'gosh!!! Not funny, but had it damaged your roof I'm imagining the insurance adjustor's report: Guacamole 1, Dwelling 0.
Neat you've given the 'triplets' another appearance ... and a little sister, too. (I'm a freak for alliteration, so I'm LOVING their names.)
Thankful is the right word, Sandra, and glad your home is ok. Free appeals to many and especially for avocados.
So glad there was no damage. Those two avocados are ginormous! Love your edits too :)
I'm glad it didn't tear off your roof edge! WHEW! And they do look good! I would have given Ava a good home! hahahaha! Hugs!
Glad some were finally edible...and love your editing of the last two shots.
Don't you just love it when a blog post falls....literally....in your lap or yard. Not going anywhere for the longest time my photos are few and far between. I actually took a photo of a wasp on the side of the house the other day...it will be coming soon to a blog near you. BOL Well done. Ava is lovely
Hugs Cecilia
Wow, so glad your roof was spared and that some of the avocados were good.
Leaving in about an hour for the looooong drive to Las Vegas.
Praying the fires are not an hinderance.
Be back in a few days.

hmm, I have never eaten an avocado. Our tomatoes and zuchini have wound down and I put the give away chair away this morning.
I love avocado's. So they are eatable now? Do you still have some left on the tree? Glad there was no damage to your house.
Yikes! Thank that you nor your house was hurt.
Wow, I'm glad there was no damage. Those two are really big!
Always scary when something like that happens. I love Avocado's so I wish we could grow a tree here but alas our winters are to cold for that.
wow! awesome edits!
i'm glad there was no damage.
take care~ xoxo
