Before in Nook

Before I started this years NOOKERY, I had warm white lights laying on the bottom and up on the shelves. I played with FAKE candle and do not like them, so they are a no
I leave the fairy lights there year round, and they burn each night while we watch TV.

Close up of the strands of fairy lights, they are on copper wire and can be formed how I want them.

Nice that you light them when you watch TV in the evening, SNdra, and we do the same but with candles and tea lites.

I like it better the way you have it now. So you can mold it into shapes, that is cool!

I love the warm white lights. NOT a fan of the cool ones. They look icy blue to me and cold. I am ALL about warm and cozy so I do not know YET where I will use these COOL whites ones I already have! But I mean to tell you I will NOT be buying any more!!

Your book looks magical. Soft lighting in an evening is a good idea. I put on one side lamp that can be adjusted and dimmed or made brighter. Being able to change the copper wire on your lighting is good.

Well, Blogger gremlins are at it again. My comment just went POOF!

Methinks you've got the best of both worlds -- for a fraction of what some people spend! While I love the warm copper glow, it's neat how you can transform the nook with the icy effect at Christmas. Smarter, not harder. :)

Your fairy lights look lovely. Fake candles are okay in some places, especially when 'hidden', but up close they do just look fake...

Not a fan of "cool" ones

Looks pretty. Tomorrow being thr first Advent we light a Ted candle . It is one of four that lead up to Christmas and was passed down fron our Austrian and German heritage. Sunday eve carols are also sung though over the years we find it harder to keep this. Buddy pushes us to keep doing all we can. He even gets what is needed.
