On Wed March 3rd Bob got his Covid-19 shot, Moderna type. I did not.
That same day 7 AM I again stared at the BUTTON and on Friday at 4:30 I will get shot.
For Five days I sat and stared at The Button, fighting for a chance for us to get our Covid-19 Vaccinations
I danced with excitement when the Go For It Book me NOW button showed up.
within 15 minutes I had Bob signed up, but the silly thing asked if I wanted to book a 2nd person and it took me round and round and round again.
Each time I clicked on available, it said Taken. then it went back and I had to fill in the same info except for name and address . by the time I filled it the one that was available was Gone
and I was not happy.
Then Wed, the Button Populated after 15 minutes of wait time, I was so excited I almost forgot to tap the button.
SURPRISE!!!! When I tapped it and Picked our Publix that we get all of our RX from it said
WELCOME Sandra, we have reserved an appointment for you on Friday at 4:30. If you want that one click accept, if not start over.
I hit that accept button so hard I practically cracked the screen on my new Touch Screen.
BTW Ginny, I love the touch screen.
It then populated the below.
MINUS the Smiley FACE
Which means the many times I tried over and over it remembered me...
The best news of all, is they picked Friday, if they had picked Thursday, I would have not been able
to use it. Bob goes to the Orthopedic Surgeon today at 10:20 to have his knees checked.
It doesn't take much to make us Seniors Happy and Thankful

I'm so glad you love your touchscreen! And that you both have the shots! I wait now for a report on Bob's doctor visit.
Crikey - what a lottery. Still at least you are holding a prize winning ticket. We are not even in with a chance over here.
all da good luck... we have 3.5 vaccinated of da whole population, seems till we get an appointment we will not even remember for what...
After all the time you sat patiently throughout, I'm happy to "got in".
I have not yet received an invitation for the vaccination, but I am very curious about Bob and your reaction after the vaccination. I have diabetes and have read that after the vaccination the value of the sugar in my blood can fluctuate.
The touchscreen is really handy, isn't it?
Yeah, you finally got an appointment.
Yay Sandra! I am glad you have an appointment!
Take care, enjoy your day!

Phew... YAM xx
Its great that Bob has his and soon you will have yours.
I'm soooo happy for you! What an ordeal, huh?
Anxious to hear what the ortho guy has to allow about Bob's knees.
I'm so glad you finally got in! No more watching the damn button!!

Sounds like we've both had the same experience! I got up early 7 different mornings and yesterday I FINALLY got the book now button! We both have appts for tomorrow! YAY! I was so thankful and I'm happy for both of you too! Sending you some hugs...we could do the happy dance together now!
Relieved for you that you got those appointments sorted at last! Hope all works out smoothly with your shot on Friday, too.
My husband and I got our first dose on Tuesday. It took some work to get through our state vaccination site. It would put you in a waiting room and count down from an hour but when it reached 0 the "continue" button didn't light up. I did a Google search and found that it typically took another 20 minutes for that button to light up. I had to use two computers at the same time to get our appointments on the same day and nearly the same time as the system wouldn't let you open multiple windows on the same computer. It was very smooth sailing through the line at the vaccination site and now we are booked for 3 weeks from Tuesday same time, same place for our second dose.
Happy Dance for MS your persistence and patience paid off. It was a chore I know
Hugs Cecilia
So glad for your persistence and the good result.
Happy "poking"

I’m so happy for you!
When I had my first vaccination shot I was so excited as it was my Birthday.
as I went to go to the waiting station after having it. I heard yelling. How do you feel Happy Birthday girl getting this birthday gift. I said fabulous.
I have had my second vaccination one and my hubby has had his two before me.
Him being in a long term Care. Being I am his wife and caregiver. I have to wear still the face shield, mask and having questions same ones. And every time the swab up my nose. I sort of feel like a guy ready to go out of space. The whole staff is tested every day and questioned had two vaccinations done.
so not sure how you are to beware still I suppose the mask when out you had mentioned to grocery shop. I heard on news that in another country maybe England the Mayor or health guys said, no masks everyone . You are free to be normal. Really???
I sure hope they are not allowed to come to Canada. Everyone thinks we are free to come and go with no protection. I am so happy for you to beable to get it. Plus hubby. ya!!!!
Hooray! We got Moderna too.
Awesome! it looks like I might be able to get my shot in early April. I sure hope so.
I had a hard time finding it too - but now I have had both.
I am thrilled you got an appointment for tomorrow!
I am so happy for you!! I hope you do well with them.....we did!
So glad you got that appointment. Really happy for you and proud of you that you stuck with it.
