MadSnapper, M.D.

MadSnapper, M.D. ( Master of Drivel)

Since I am staring at the bottom of the photo barrel and the silly nonsense barrel, I decided to pick from the  Share Stuff I know barrel.

I  loved my Primary Care Doctor, she leans towards Holistic uses RX meds when necessary.

She told me to use Aspercrème  instead of NSAIDS taken by mouth. NSAIDS topical before  NSAIDS by mouth.

Aspercreme on Varicose Veins. IT WORKS! .

The Arnicare is made from Arnica and any of the Arnica products are great.

Arnica for Muscle Pain, Swelling from Injuries and Bruises. I had a sore neck when she advised me to use it. It is a natural product from plants. It makes the bruises go away faster.

The photo shows Arnicare Cream, I prefer the Arnicare Gel..

Arnicare is magic for soreness after a leg cramp, muscle cramp. AFTER you manage to stand up or get out of bed and quit going OH OH OH, stretch the muscle tight a few times and massage with Arnicare...

Generic brands work as good as Brand names.

About the B12 , I had to take it for 10 days to help treat my shingles. What I learned about it is the word Sublinqual means under the tongue to absorb. Not swallow the tablet. I asked Why that mattered.

She said 1. it goes in the system faster 2.

It bypasses the throat and stomach and goes directly to blood stream, and doesn't harm the stomach.

that applies to the Aspercream also. Rubbing it on, absorbs and by passes the stomach, which is why it is dangerous to take pain meds known as NSAIDS. they harm the stomach.

Let me know if you knew this before you read it HERE from MADsnapper MD

Wow, I am going to buy this Arnicare. I remember when you told me about a different cream, can't remember the name. I bought it, but then loaned it to a friend and never did get to try it. I have terrible varicose veins all up and down my right leg. I was going to get them worked on, and went to the hospital for the evaluation. But the machine they were going to use to check them out... all of a sudden lost power and they couldn't check them out that day. I took that as a SIGN, and never went back! I did know how bad NSaids are on the stomach. In fact, my doctor said I would be better off with opiods! You make the cutest doctor EVER!! so which do you use, Arnicare or Aspercreme? Is one the generic of the other?

Well, I did... but then I'm a retired medic! That to a homoeopathic one - and Arnica is a h'pathic Rx. So glad you have found it beneficial. YAM xx

It's good if you can get relief and bypass the stomach.

Hello,

This is great advice. I am going to looking for the Arnicare for my neck, does it have an odor? Take care, enjoy your day!

Well I knew about Arnicare because I have some in my cabinet. I didn't know the reason for putting the B1 under your tongue. That's good info to know. So will you be setting up an office or are you strictly a web MD? :)

Love the photo lol! I didn't know most but I did know NSAIDS harm the stomach. I usually just treat everything with cold beer :D

I KNEW there was a reason I hadn't thrown out the Aspercreme! I'm going to start applying that on my thighs today and capture periodic images to see if, after a few weeks time, they fade.
I knew baby asperin was best absorbed under the tongue, but not about the B12.
Fortunately, I've never had stomach issues from taking NSAIDs by mouth. But then, I have been accused of having a cast-iron stomach. Probably all the hot green chili I grew up eating.

I forgot to say how I'm loving this picture of you -- Marcus Welby's twin! :)

Hey Sandra I think you look excellent in the M.D white coat. LOL
Not familiar with Arnicare but will check it out. Much better to send it to the source rather than thru the digestive tract.
I'm glad you enjoyed Woody and Maggie Caper

I want you for my Doctor...Love this picture of you.
Great information that I will use.
I do have Aspercream but will get some of the other for both of us. It may really work while Dave is going through physical therapy.
Tomorrow we start that routine at Kaiser.

I love this information - I did know both of those - except I did not know you could put it on varicose veins! Good to know.

I had forgotten about Arnica! I used to use it and will again now that you've reminded me of it! Here lately I have been rubbing Ben Gay on my feet and then putting some soft sox on. I usually do this before bed or taking a nap. LOVE the smell of Ben Gay!!

I, too, love that picture of you! Thanks for mentioning Aspercreme. I can't take NSAIDs because of my stomach.

I bought some Aspercreme recently but forget to use it. I can remember when we had it in our house when I was a kid, though. (60 to 70 years ago!)

I knew some of the information. The arnica is very popular in Mexico, and I knew from firsthand experience about the NSAIDS harming the stomach! Ugh! I didn't know about the Aspercream helping varicose veins!

That's all very interesting. I take B12 and didn't know that about putting them under the tongue. Very interesting!

I like Aspercreme. There are not NSAIDS in our house anymore since neither of us can take them for the heart. I'll have to check out the Arnicare Cream. I take a liquid B-12. I did not know that about the Aspercreme and I had never heard of the Arnicare Cream. I did know about putting things under the tongue.
