Thank You for your help

Thank you to ever single person that commented on my Out of Control posts about my battle with food.
There were so many good responses to my request for ideas for protein and other foods. And some include links to follow. Thanks for keeping me on track

I printed each of your comment, they come into my email and I printed them and have highlighted the things I need to remember and check into.

I had no idea all these different flours were available and almost everything mentioned is at our Wal-Mart. You have flooded me with great ideas.

About printing things. I thought I would share things I do that you might not be aware of.

In an email, if I want to keep just a thought or few sentences, I highlight the info, and rightclick on the highlight and click print. It will print ONLY what you want.
I also if there are several that i want to print. I highlight, right click/copy/paste in a word or note doc until they are all there and then save the doc and name the subject.

you can also do that when you are in dashboard on Blogger and can see all your comments. Anything you want to save, highlight and copy/paste in a doc or email...or print from there also.

Also wanted to share this with you.
My laptop is REALLY slow, old age of 6. I went to Microsoft support to search for how to speed up a slow computer. In a dozen different steps of what it CAN be, I found Ready Boost.

Ready Boost is already on Windows 10, all you need is a flash drive or SD Card and it will show after you plug it in the USB port.

I followed the steps you will find in the highlighted link . My laptop is going so much faster now.
Still slow to boot, but after it boots Wow. A big difference follow this LINK to Microsoft Support Ready Boost instructions.

Me and My Beau say Thank You, Thank you for being our friends

So cool that you got so much help! And of course I didn't know any of this computer stuff. My computer is maybe over 10 years old, but they installed a new hard drive, a super fast one. I love this pic of you & Beau!!!

Hello,
I am glad you found a way to speed up your laptop. I wonder if it would work for my desktop, it is slow starting up. I have been meaning to add almond flour to my shopping list, I wanted to try using it for a recipe. You were given some great ideas on your comments.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Glad you got so much positive response to your reaching out with a question!!! Love Blogland...

On the computer stuff; the stick drive method you refer to is purely an expansion of RAM for processing -eg Voovoo the Vaio is a 4gbRAM gal, but if I wanted I could add such a secondary drive and segment it for another resulting in 8gbRAM. This would be useful for running space-hungry programs (and more and more items are - particularly involving sound or video streaming). For online stuff, remembering to regularly clear out cache and cookies data will help processing speeds too.

If the problem is slow-boot, there is more to be considered. Basic computer hygiene such as regular defragging, disk cleanup and even simply checking what programs are triggered to be opened at the time of boot - and cutting them down... This LINK tells more about all of that. YAM xx

Glad you got lots of suggestions.
Interesting on the ready boost. I have a laptop that I quit using because it was so slow. I'll have to look into that.

Great suggestions! I don't own a laptop, but will start employing the clip/copy/paste to a word doc. I'm not fond of lots of paper, so set up several Word doc files -- each containing 'stuff' I can't live without.
Thank YOU for being a friend!

I'm in awe of you and all the things you discover on your computer. I mainly just keep plugging along with what I learned years ago. Thanks goodness for the Urban Dictionary to keep me to date on all of the new abbreviations.
