On the 4th day of July, after all the rain, we had NINE of these beautiful orange hibiscus, they are bright orange and about 5 inches across.
I had been giving water from our hose to the hibiscus bush, no blooms, but it lived.
Rain pushed the blooms.

It is gorgeous! And so many frilly petals!!!
what a color! like a firework... and we like that kind of flower firework much more than the boom&bang...
Just beautiful. Its a double one.
It's so pretty. I love hibiscus. I had one once but just like everything else I plant it died.
All of ours perished in the freeze!! Some are recouping...but it'll be months before they bloom again. Your very first image is stellar!!
Hello,
The orange hibiscus blooms are pretty. It took forever for our hibiscus plant to bloom this year. Beautiful photos. Have a great day!
That is a seriously WOW hibiscus. We have one that colour in the garden out front but not double like that - and aphids and snails ate all the leaves off it in the spring so it has struggled to produce any flowers at all this year (even after F dealt with the aphids). Perhaps we should start praying harder for rain to save it. xxx Mr T

The hibiscus blooms are wonderful, Sandra, the rain was beneficial in opening these blooms for you to enjoy and share.
Oh m'gosh, she's beautiful. And fragile-looking at the same time. You know, despite the pandemic and all the other ugly stuff out there ... didn't you feel JOY when you saw her and her friends?
I love hibiscus and this sure is a gorgeous one!
Now that's what I call "orange."
Such gorgeous flowers. I'm glad the rain "pushed" them to bloom.
We sure could use some of that water here.
The West is in for a week of severe heat beginning today.. Weather guy says it may hit 109F today and then go up from there.
HELP!! I go to my elder care work today and that means we probably won't be going outside...makes the hours drag...and I use up all of my "Words" just making the time pass.
Absolutely gorgeous...the exact color of Orange Sherbet which I love
Oh I’m so late at 5 minute unexpected chore first thing this morning ended up taking an hour and a trip to Lowe's. Then I got behind on my reg. chores…no worries it will be my story for FFF in July.
Hugs Cecilia
So beautiful! Mark just removed 5 of our Hibiscus that just haven't done that great over the years. We do however have 3 yellow bushes that are fabulous and my favorite color. Have a great weekend!

The hibiscus is our national flower but I can't say I've seen an orange one.
