photo play from last week, poor pic from chrombook in low light

This is me smiling! Beaus Daddy will be ready for pickup at 10:30 at the front door of the hospital, Two hours and he will be home. Therapist said he aced all his tests and walked 200 feet not the required 150.

Beau has not played with his ball since Bob disappeared. Not even to chew or carry it. Now we have to figure out how to tell him Daddy can't play ball. Thanks for all the loving thoughts, well wishes, candles, hugs, emails, comments. Thank you for being there with me through this.

Happy Happy Happy. I had a friend with a really bad knee. She finally gave in to surgery and was all kind of amazed at how the surgical pain was just a bit of a nuisance compared to the daily pain she had for years.
Yay Bionic Bob.
I bet Beau will just be happy to see Dad.

So glad that Bob will be home soon and the question mark that's been hovering over Beau's head is about to disappear. Wishing you all extra strength in the days ahead.

So he did stay overnight! Great! Poor Beau, he will think Daddy is mad at him. He needs a lot of extra hugs and pets from Daddy. I'm so glad all went well!!!

Just so he will be good once home and allow the healing process to continue. Beau, I think, will know. Man's best friend has a 6th sense.
Remember...you too take things slow

Low light or not, I LOVE this picture of you. Pretty lady!
Anything special on today's menu to celebrate?

Welcome home Bob! All three of you will be happy when he comes through the door :) I wouldn't be surprised if Beau is extra gentle with Bob. They have a sense about these things don't they?

I'm so glad all went well for Bob, so much stress off of you. I can't wait to hear/see what Beau does when his daddy comes home. How our dogs love us, it's a beautiful thing.

It's such a lovely picture of you.

Yay...so glad things have gone so well. I'm glad they kept him over night.
Take it easy..both of you...I really think Beau will understand that Bob can't do all he usually does for a while.
Pretty exciting that Bob took more steps than was expected..hope he will continue to do what he's been told to heal completely.
Prayers and hugs continuing through this entire "thing"

I'm glad he's coming home. It will be tough but you will make it through. Also, maybe you can play ball with Beau unless he only wants his daddy. Take care. I'll be thinking about both of you.

Hooray. I bet Bob will be glad to be back home and I know Beau will be happy too. Hope you don't have too much trouble keeping Bob from doing things he shouldn't do.

Both Bob and Beau will be happy, although not sure which will be the most. And, you are relieved and happy too.

Amazing how fast they get him back on his feet after a big op. Well done Bob. Determined. We hope he enjoys life with his renewed mobility and less pain.

I read your many posts and in my heart I kept you in mind sending positive vibes. Poor Beau.
At my end my daughter left us with her cat when she moved. It has been 3 years of daily care if not more. My issue is I prefer dogs. And this cat has opted to get close to a skunk twice this summer! Ugh.
I continue to have worse vision but you are such a dear blog friend I keep going to try to let you know I am listening to you and keep wishing you all the best especially at this crazy time. God bless you and family. Hugs

It is so hard, our furs do not understand what is going on all the time and other times they are so smart they seem to know it all.
