Sunday Selfie

Friday my new lens in my old glasses came back and I am so happy...
I took this in front of the moss rose to show you they are ginormous now.
Below shows the heavy framed, heavy glass, bifocals I wore while waiting for the new lightweight glasses.
Photo to the right is without haircut and heavy glasses
left if after haircut with light weight glasses.
If you are thinking my face looks fatter in the light glasses, it is because the selfie photograher held the phone to close.
We will see you again on Tuesday, with results we will get on Monday at the Cardiologist.

Looking good in the neighborhood, MS! I'm anxious to hear what the cardio guy has to say.

Why change frames when you like the old ones? I also have a new prescription in old frames because when I went into the shop there were a gazillion new frames to choose from and after I tried on 2 or 3 with the clerk breathing down my neck and being ever so helpful in pointing out another 7000 I hadn't even looked at yet, I opted for the same-old same-old and saved myself a bundle. You look GREAT!

I'm glad you got your glasses and they look great. The moss roses look amazing. Can't believe how much they have grown.

You are looking so good; no one would know all the stress you are under. You do look better in your old/new glasses.

The flowers are beautiful and the twins in front are not bad either. Im glad you are happy with your lighter glasses. I have a light weight pair for everyday use but a heavier coloured pair for going out. I like the thinner armed ones because my hearing aids feel more comfortable. What fun trying to get a mask off with glasses and hearing aids.

Is what you call moss rose a kind of Purslane? F was discussing purslane with our Greek friend the other day - it is a salad vegetable/green. We had to look it up to find a picture and discovered it is called glistreetha in Greek - and the wiki thing also suggested it was called moss rose! Well the flowers on the ones in our garden (where it is a 'weed') are tiny (miniscule) compared to yours, but the leaves look similar. Not that we are suggesting you should try eating it at all. The salad version is strangely mucilaginous. (Now there is a word to play with). Good luck for ongoing consultations. xxx MR T and F
