My favorite plant in our back yard. Ferns are a close second.
Caturday art by Sandra
I stood under our 7 foot tall Colocasia Taro Giant Elephant Ears and took 7 photos of this one bloom. Above are PicMonkey creations and below collages are what they looked like with background taken with my Samsung Phone.
the bloom is under these leaves, near the ground.
two days later, I took 10 more photos.
coming soon to a blog near you.

Those are some amazing photos you took. Hoping you and Bob both get well deserved rest and all is well at your place.
Wow, they are stupendous and gorgeous!!! I think this would be my second favorite of yours, with the Powder Puff being the first favorite. Love the sun!!
Those flowers are amazing. Even more amazing you got your phone to photograph them so well in shade with bright light in the background. Welcome back to an hour or two of normal each day?
Hello,
The blooms are a bonus, I did not know this plant flowered. I love the big leaves. Take care, enjoy your day!
I never knew they bloomed!!! The flower is similar to the Calla Lily.
These are amazing photos. That bloom reminds me of a house plant I had a long long time ago and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

I think Ann is remembering what we called Peace Lily. Whatever it reminds one of - it is STUNNING!!! YAM xx

Your Samsung does take great pictures. But your edits are exquisite!
PS- I see someone said this is a calla lily ... I know NOTHING about plants, but remember telling Tom's daughter that's what I wanted for our wedding. She brought roses. 😡
Hello dear Sandra, what amazing plants and your photography is brilliant. Thanks for sharing these treasures. I'm off to read what Beau has to say. xx
Those were TERRIFIC photos you took!
Those plants are huge. Love them..I think we used to call them elephant ears. I never knew they bloomed either. If I had them I would be shooting many photos of them too. Good stuff.
