Christmas Painting

I won this Christmas Express painting, by artist Linda Chapman of Linda's Life JournaLl.

It arrived from the state of Texas on Nov 8th, and was so welcome. I needed the cheery painting to jump

start me back into my normal self after 8 days of horror with my sick dog Beau.

I was so excited when the mailman knocked on the door, I forgot I was in my

flannel gown and gave him the shock of his life and them snapped this photo to show Linda it was here and safe, unmarked and

JUST NOW REALIZED my Flannel gown is now immortalized on this blog.

Thank You Linda. for making me show how crazy I am.

Also, now you may have forced me to start early instead of waiting til day after Christms. We shall See. All of you Shall see.

Forget the gown and notice I now have a variegate philodendron in a second vase.

It's great to see and read that life is resuming some kind of normal madness. Hopefully new knees, plague, and poorly dogs are all behind you now and Christmas prep will be a welcome, light-hearted and cheerful few weeks. Xxx Mr T and F

Congratulations! That painting's so whimsical ... why, I want to jump right into that scene and ride far, far away.

Two thumbs up for the flannel! Creature comforts.

That is absolutely a gorgeous painting.
I didn't notice your gown until you mentioned it. I was too busy looking at the painting.

I was thrilled you got the painting. Or the canvas. I totally enjoyed painting this one!
Your nook is already famous and now I get to be a little part of it!

I told Linda you are the absolute best person who could have won her painting, because you really needed something special to pick you up. It is really nice. You are so cute snapping in your flannel gown, I think that really makes the photo! So you have a varegated one now? How did that happen, one was in your yard?

So glad you were the winner, Sandra, and that is meant in the very best way with NO sarcasm. Linda is a talented artist and it certainly cheered your day and the ones ahead. Hope that Beau will be feeling better soon too.
