I had Nada Nothing, Nary a thing to post about. Above is Alva they day I planted her and below you can see how much she has grown. Philomena grows so fast I can't keep up with trimming her leaves, but Alva thrives for a while, dies back, thrives, dies. She just started to grow last month. I have tried her every where...
Alva, was named in Philomena's Children Prior Post. and is a Creeping Fig meant for indoors only.

I don't remember you buying a Creeping Fig! Why did you choose this kind, where dd you get it? I got a bunch of new plants and they are filling up a whole room now. I got a baby Philodendron called Prince Of Orange, because the new leaves coming from the center are bright orange. It looks nothing like a Philodendron though. The leaves are long and slender. Did you know there are dozens of kinds of Philodendrons? I also got a Pothos, called Satin, because it is like velvet with silver marks on the leaves. I am getting ready to post them all.
Hello,
I am not sure if I have seen a creeping fig here. It seems to be doing well, just like your Philomena. I have a Snake Plant doing ok and an Aloe Vera that is barely hanging on. Take care, enjoy your day!

I do recall Alva being mentioned, vaguely... and there you are, with a post after all! YAM xx
I enjoyed your impromptu post!! You have a green thumb.
I don't even try to have plants here...I lived at one house that just anything would grow. It gets tempting to try again but then I feel like it would just be something else to worry about when we go to the kids for a few days.
I don't think I have seen, or maybe noticed, a creeping fig for sale. I shall check next time I go to the nursery. Philomena is doing great isn't she?
Gosh, you don't suppose Alva caught a mild case of Covid do you?
I've learned more about the care and keeping of house plants here than (from) anywhere. Plus, your pictures are far more entertaining!
My green thumb has slowly withered to nothing.
though the one plant I have now seems to be doing ok...photos eventually coming to a blog near you...

Now I remember Philomena but not Alva. When I read Alva I thought of JP's plant. I think that's what she named that one. Creeping Fig sounds interesting.
Thank goodness for the Alva plant
Happy Saturday

Loved the news of your botanical babies!
We had Thanksgiving with Sherry's family in a small Texas town today. Ruth Ann and I went on a walk through the neighborhood and stopped at a house that had a beautiful and interesting front yard. I knocked on the door and asked if we could take pictures of it and she asked me if I wanted some Hens and chicks. It's a succulant type plant that is really pretty and Texas hardy! I'll take some oics and post about it! Will pot up most of them here at the ranch but plan to take a couple of them back home with me.
F had some vague memory of creeping fig somwhere in her past. If you like plants that hang down have you tried growing spider plant? They seem to be indestructible. Mr B can grow them and it seems you can't over water them.
I have no luck at all with inside plants. I do ok outside though. So am happy to see how well she's doing.
Do swing by for a visit.
