This is from Oct 27th, been in drafts that long
Wed am walk with Beau was stunning. Above photo is my stomach, my hand an leash!
I had to hold him, hold the cell phone out with one hand and shout hey google, take a photo.
for some reason, she takes longer to answer outside
she says Ok, I can do that, get ready, then the dumb countdown number 3,2,1 and it takes it.
try holding and 80 lb dog in one hand and hold the cell steady while she takes her own sweet time.
I did mange to get one.
We leave home at daybreak which is now about 7:17 with sunrise at 7:30
for the first time in my life I am happy for the coming time change. He wants to walk at 6:40.
Breaks my heart that now we could and do walk at 6:40 but only 800 feet. no more fast mile for either of us. I am thankful he is back to normal except for the hips, knees and ACL tear. His old sweet self.

Impressive! I did not know you could take a photo like that. So good to learn Beau is doing better.
Happy days to be able to get out and walk. Pretty sunrise (my favorite time of day). I've had the phone propped up and just as google counts down...it falls over. Result black.
Hello,
It is nice to still get outside for a walk. Even though it is slower and a shorter walk. Love the pretty sky capture, beautiful sunrise. Our sunrise is 6:50am now. I am glad Beau is his old sweet self now. Take care, enjoy your day!
If only he coukd stay normal!

gorgeous photo - and hey, if only my hips and knees were up to it, I'd be doing the fast mile too!!! That Beau is cheerful is what matters. YAM xx
A Florida sunset, Wow! What a wonderful surprise; I lOVE sunriss and sunsets. And you almost never get the chance to snap one! Are you going to do some kind of exercise to replace Beau's walk? Maybe walking alone? Sweater pic coming later today when the light is good and I can snap it. It has a fur hood.
That is stunning...Beau is lucky to be loved by you and vice versa
Hugs cecilia
Pretty sunrise...I'm glad Beau is wanting to be outside again. Only 800 steps is better than nothing.

Beautiful sunrise. I, the Tigger, think that the human should go out and do the fadt mile for exercise, and come back to do Beau's 800m dash. Better still get Beau a Donkey. I enjoy a fast mile on my Donkey. xxx Mr T
Maybe get a semi-cart for his hind legs? I’m not sure how that would work but I’ve seen dogs with wheels for their hind quarters. Or maybe something with wheels to take most of the weight off his legs? That would be a great invention for all the poor pups out there with similar problems.
In the meantime I’m so glad he’s no longer sick. Much love to you both. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
It’s so nice to be outdoors in the early mornings, I agree. Glad that you and Beau can share this beauty together again, Sandra.
Maybe a dog sling to take some of the weight off his rear legs? That might be easier and help some. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
Don't you worry. He'll get to that fast mile!!...jp
I imagine Beau is also very happy to be walking even if it is a much shorter one.
What a lovely sunrise!
All at once? If I were to try that trick I'd probably trip and do a face-plant on the pavement.
Now I'm curious, what's with the purple lights on either side of that garage?
PS - I like Monk's suggestion about a little cart. Could Bob build one like that?
The sunrise is beautiful!
