Bob takes med 2 times, Beau 3 times, and I take 3 times a day.
Don't worry, Bob has only 2 RX a day and I have 3 RX. which is pretty good for a man 8 and 1/2 decades old with a wife who is pushing that 8th decade.
I fill 6 weekly pill boxes every Sunday AM.
Lately my brain is a quagmire of confusion!
which pill at what time, who's pill is this?
I created these graphics on Jan 10, and have no clue where I was going with this post.
I Found them in drafts.
I do remember there was a POINT to this, but What? I have no clue WHY I created these, as in for what purpose.
This is where my brain is these days.
As I opened this sausage, the same package I have been opening for years, I Suddenly Spied the top corner that says EASY OPEN..... I have fought these packages for YEARS using scissors/knife to get that package open. My question is, has that always been there or did they just add it recently? It does work.

I figure we might as well be cheerful about it. I keep telling Andy it's all impossible so we might as well laugh.
Those easy opens are great when they do work. In multilingual europe many don't say 'easy open' they just have a little graphic which might look like a corner peeling up. I strongly suspect some packaging manufacturers of adding that to the print design then not building the machines that leave that corner (or any other corner) as a starting point. Back to stabbing it with a knife!

...yea, 'easy open' can be a misleading statement. Easy reading applies to this blog at all times though! YAM xx
I've been there (with your meds situation AND packages) so many times, it's not funny!! Thing is ...easy open for me requires scissors!!!
Hello,
I can not open anything, even if it says there is an easy open corner.
I have my handy scissors nearby. I am lucky if I remember to put in my eye drops twice a day. Take care, enjoy your day!
Those easy open packages can be a real pain. I often have a hard time getting the two layers apart and then sometimes when I do they don't pull apart easy. I think most times it's easier to open it with a knife or scissors.
I can never open the damn things that say easy open lol! Another annoying thing is our weather. I was looking forward to sunny and 70s today, instead we get cold and gray again - ugh!
Oh dear me Sandra!!! I 100% agree with you about the 'lift here' on corners of bacon, sausage etc. Once you are able to finally pull the package ends apart it takes gorilla force to pull them apart. Bryan admits to being package challenged, he won't even try. He gets scissors first thing.
Thank you again for the assistance yesterday. So happy my comments are appearing as the should be.
Now to figure out why that black horizontal bar is where my date used to be. LOL BUT that is just an aggravation not a problem.
Hugs cecilia
You will laugh at this...I remember Roger's meds...I may be a bit late some mornings...but I have had no difficulty remembering to give them. But I cannotvremembervtonrake something myself. Not even once a day.
As for theceady open..I betvitvwas not there. I buy bacon...if it comes from our Walmart, I have to use scissors or knife to open it. Ifvl itvl comescfrom super Walmart, it has this little red section at the top where you just pull it apart.
It must be difficult when you need to take the pills at different times of the day. And three of you to keep track of. Samson took many pills perday, but Faith only takes a half pill to keep her bladder under control. And I take a BP and a gabapentin before bed. I still put them in one of those weekday containers so I know if I took them or not. How to deal with differet pills at different times seems a lot more difficult.
Gosh, that's a lot of pill boxes. Thank goodness Tom keeps his own lined up on the kitchen counter like soldiers. What's scary? Only on Sunday are there 2 pills in the little container -- I take the osteo one first, then come back in 30 minutes for the thyroid. But last week when I came back, it was empty. I know there were 2, and I know I didn't take both at the same time. I scoured the floor to no avail, so I'm left to conclude it fell down the drain? That, and I'm losing my mind.
Sealed packages like what you describe are so annoying. Plus, when it's raw sausage I wash it and wash it like a crazy woman trying to clean a murder weapon.
That quagmire sounds like the descriptiona of my family!
I just filled our pill boxes for four weeks! It took me nearly 2 hours because I have to concentrate!! We take a lot more than y'all......sad to say. But that also includes baby aspirin for me and CQ10 and vitamins and allergy meds and on and in and on.
I love looking at all the filled boxes knowing I'm done for a month! And I am grateful that we can afford pur medicines. I take two that are expensive - and I'm thankful.
Some packaging is bullet proof!!!
Whew, I'm glad we don't have that many pills to contend with.
Dave fills his own weekly box and takes his own every morning.
I take mine which is only BP and Turmeric and D3 every morning while I'm getting my coffee ready.
Yes I have the same Rant on "easy open",that's such a farce.. easy open for me is my pair of scissors..

Don't get me started on pills. I have 5 pills I take daily, one of them is twice. Then I have two inhalers that I take, one is twice a day. I usually do 3 weeks at a time and then I always have one ready for an emergency.
I get my meds, which is only three pills, ready Saturday morning.
Did you mean to post a pic of the sausage? So once you noticed the corner, it does open easy now? I have this kind of pill keeper, only it has four rows instead of two. I use a row for each day, so have to refill it every four days. You both ARE doing really well with not taking very many pills!
But sometimes those easy-open labels still give me trouble, then I have to remember to put my reading glasses on that I propped up on the top of my head. Pill containers are great.
