I last saw a James Bond movie 60 years ago, the first was Dr. No and I was a senior in high school. Although I was shocked to the core of Ursulla Andress in the skimpy bikini with a knife on her hip, I was not all that impressed with the first 3 movie and they were the last of watching Bond movies.
Movies were expensive and after having my 2 sons, I rarely went to movies. In my 37 years with Bob he has refused to watch all things James Bond 007.
We have been to exactly 2 movies in a theater in 37 years. The company I worked for rented an entire theater with 5 screens for our company picnic. Free pick of 5 movies and free hotdogs, popcorn and drinks. I dragged him and chose Harrison Ford in Random Hearts. It was not really worth watching. The other movie was The Passion, our church rented the theater, and it was free.
We do like movies, but prefer them at home, where if he talks during the movie, I can say SHHHH and it doesn't matter if he gets up and down and there is no competing noise level. Also when he talks I can rewind to hear what was said while he was talking.
Browsing for a movie on our cable, I stumbled on Skyfall, the 2012 James Bond movie and recorded it to watch when Bob lets go of the remote and goes to the YMCA to swim.
I watched it. I watched it alone.
If you Love it as much as I did, here is the search and I watched most of the videos HERE including listening to the Queens Guard playing the James Bond theme.

Loved it. And (whispers) we forgot it is final friday-oops. F is doing fried brain at present. I'm not sure why she but she says she has had weeks of keeping several aeroplanes circling over head without hitting each other while waiting for the runway to be repaired. I'm sure they must have run out of fuel by now and I'm wondering when they will crash. She tried to make a picture of me in a red white striped hat the other night and ended up irretrievably deleting a folder of photos. Tee-hee. She has them stored somewhere else too so we can laugh about how tech challenged she is, and i don't yet have the embarrassment of being depicted in a redwhitehat. xxx Mr T PS my humans watch 007. You have to accept OTT. It is escapism.
You totally cracked me up when I read you can think of so many uses for the headlight guns. Ian Fleming wrote 13 James bond books, and I read them all as a teenager. Back then, I saw a few of them in theaters. I love the stories and gizmos, but have never liked ANY of the actors who played Bond! And I never did think Connery was handsome. After reading this, I need a drink. Stirred, not shaken (it bruises the gin).
Neilson is a fan of James Bond... he is very interested in the special effects... my favorite is Goldfinger with Gert Froebe... he was a fabulous actor...

Applause!"!! I love that you like Bond enough to watch it on your own - I have to most of the time! I like the bond movies - ever since my dad took me to see Diamonds Are Forever on my 12th birthday. I have seen them all, but have not enjoyed them all. Roger Moore is the actor I cannot watch, so once seen, I have not rewatched any of his movies. All the others I have, though. I did like Connery, but I agree, to date, Daniel Craig has been the best and the most authentic per the original books. Thanks for choosing to tell this tale of your 'secret' viewing for FFF! YAM xx
I have seen very few James Bond movies because I can't stand them. Wade loved them and would always watch when he found one on tv. I always watched something else on another tv.
Hello,
I have seen a few of the James Bond movies, my favorite Bond actors were Connery and Daniel Craig. I do prefer watching movies at home, I like being able to stop for bathroom and snack breaks. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend!
I too like Craig best as Bond!!! Connery was not my first choice ever, but the others were no good either. Craig, yes indeed.
I'll skip the movies but I wouldn't mind having one of those cars too!
We are Bond fans here.
I have 3 favorite Bonds were Sean Connery OF COURSE.....Pierce Brosnan and now Daniel Craig. Of course the opening scene in Sky Fall was a winner here

Fun post! The other day Tom was engrossed in a James Bond marathon on some random channel and I (reluctantly) watched Dr. No. Yes, Ursula in that bikini scene was something else!
HE probably prefers that I don't, on account I can't help but make snide comments like, "How fake is that?". Nope. While I've seen several Bond films, I'm not a fan. I'd no idea there were so many! I'm making a note to come back here and check out these links.
I am the opposite of you when it comes to Bond...I enjoy all things Bond and own all the movies(with the exception of the newest release). They are pretty over the top, but I really enjoy a good explosion LOL
I have never been inclined to watch a James Bond movie...maybe I should try one. LOL
I can't say I'm a fan but do enjoy them. We don't go to movies very often at all.
I had all the 007 paperback books and had read them several times.
Just sold the LOT on eBay for a nice chunk of change and they are out of our house, yay..a little bit at a time...
Love your story telling abilities, and your comments about our similar yard working "skills".

😊❤️ We saw one years ago and enjoyed it but never had the urge to see another one. I prefer watching at home.
I LOVE the Bond movies! Louis Dean not so much but my children and I do and can quote lines from any given one. I loved Sean Connery, Roger Moore - no! But I love Pierce Brosnan just because even though I don't think he was a really true BOND kind of guy. Now Daniel Craig??? He is my favorite of all time. I have watched each and every one multiples of times. Amber, Ben and Summer usually make a point of us eeing a new one together and when NO TIME TO DIE came out - all four of my children plus Mike watched it with me. Some of the DC Bond movies are better than others and a couple were done during a writers strike or some other problem si it is what it is. Daniel Craig is great and I think he looks like my son, Benjamin. I'm so tickled that you lived Skyfall. It's one of my favorites. Since I have watched everything possible with Daniel Craig, I am pretty sure I have already seen you links......but I just fixed me a cup of coffee (it is still ICY cold here in the camper - we are going home on MOnday!) and I will have myself a little party for one. ONCE is not enough - I can watch things overe and over when Daniel Craig is in it. I used to feel that way avout Johnny Depp but he's not as good a human being as Daniel Craig.....
Every one has an opinion - right - I have to go with Sean Connery,
Never forget as a high school senior, one of my best friends was in ecstasy about seeing Dr. No. I wasn't much of a movie goer as I was out-of town nearly every Friday and Saturday at our houseboat on the Pearl River in Louisiana, a little more than an hour from our Hattiesburg, MS home.
I haven't seen the new James Bond movies. I think the last one I saw was Roger Moore, and I was a big Sean Connery fan before that. I have only seen Daniel Craig in bits of his 007 movies. Now I'm thinking I should look for them and watch. I remember him with Queen Elizabeth and I thought that was great and so funny!
