I am here to TALK

1. I found something new. I use Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl to paste. In Blogger when you copy and paste from a website it goes all wonkers.  IF  you do Ctrl Shift and V it will remove the format behind what you copy and paste it in EXACTLY matching your own fonts.

Did you know you can ctrl V and paste a photo in your Google Photos? If you have one in your blog and want to use it again, right click and copy, ctrl V into your Google photos and you can import it in your post. SOMETIMES you can copy and paste in blogger but not always.

2. My sons low sodium was caused by a perfect storm/bomb created by Drs. and my son.

Alert!  Coffee/caffeine = diuretic, RX diuretics added flushed blood sodium which caused headaches and he took too much Ibuprofen.
Caused Extreme low sodium in blood = Seizure

This below comment form Easy is how I feel about Windows 11, but  I felt that way about all the Windows.

easyweimaraner has left a new comment on your post "Bottom of Barrel 2":

I knew about Control C and control V and use it every day. But I did NOT know about removing the formatting! What an amazing thing to find out!!! How DID you find out?

Now that is very useful to my tech challenged human. We might go out and give it a go.
Good to know they worked out what caused the low sodium issue. Tackling the cause if much better than just managing the effect.

Yup, it's useful - on Chromebook at least... is it working on the Windows version of Chrome browser? I am finding the Ctrl+w for closing the current tab quite useful too, as the top of the Chromebook screen can be tricky to use in touch form.

Glad that David now knows what happened - and can hopefully avoid a repeat! YAM xx

...but, he has fully recovered?!! (your son)

I always thought it was named Windows 'cause it opened us to the world (sarcastic)

Hello,

I knew about the Ctrl C to copy. I like dragging my mouse across things I want to copy, or the rick click on the mouse copies images. There is probably a website showing different tricks for using all the keys on the computer's keyboard. I am glad you son knows what caused to seizure, so not it will not happen again. Have a happy day!

I can't say if I ever knew about the cntrl c and cntrl v or not. I read about these keyboard shortcuts but when I need them I can never remember a single one of them. I need a keyboard cheat sheet to put right on my desk.
Glad to hear that your sons seizures were a simple fix.

I think with drs and meds, we really need to watch/check the meds yourself. But I know I tend to trust the drs and pharmacists to catch things.

Anni's comment cracked me up.

Over here applauding Easy's take on Windows!
Love when you share these tips, helping to navigate. I'm sending myself a text to come back in a few days (YOU know) when I might play in peace.

Da Twinies are correct!!
I've been using Ctrl + letters many years.
I worked with Theoretical Physicists for years aka computer gurus they taught me lots of short cuts.
Thank goodness your David is on the right road to feeling 100% normal

So glad to hear your son is doing better and that they have discovered what the problem was.
I will have to come back to read all the techie stuff and see if I can do it on my Apple laptop.
Today will be a marathon eBay photographing and research day....sometimes I get so tired of it but the money sure helps.

Happy to hear your son is doing a lot better. Thanks for sharing about his condition as that is a good thing to get out here, as a warning to others. Some great tips here too.

You're always learning something new. My hubby tells me some of the shortcuts but then I forget them! lol Enjoy your afternoon! It's cloudy here but no rain so far!

Interesting how meds, us and stuff we imbibe can cause major body disruption when one least expects it

I did not know about Ctrl+Shift+V to get rid of the old formatting - very useful, thanks!
