Can you guess what is new?
or do I have to tell you?
It is new but not,
It's Been behind the sofa since Dec, in its storage spot.
Waiting For the He man to remove the old one
which I could not have done.
Waiting for the HE man to unbox the new
While I waited 3 months for the new to view.
I can't live without a microwave, the other was ancient
it made odd sounds and sometime odd flashes, I said you are dying, aint ya.
I love the gray insides, I love bright display,
and most of all I love the handle and the fact the other microwave has gone away.
I was afraid it would not work, so I checked online, and Amazon said your return time expired, 2 months ago.
to the HEmanprocrastinator, I screamed said OH NO
He Man Is Strong, can pick up anything. His knees are new and not stable and he staggers when carrying heavy things.. Just so you Know.
PS.. the old one is not really gone but is now sitting on bench on front porch.
which is as far as HE man got it.
Maybe we should all guess how long it will sit there, 😁
Can you find the pool? |

I did find the pool! So the new microwave is Farberware? I didn't know they make microwaves!! It is nice, and I really like the handle. I have never seen your kitchen from this vantage point, what a cool microwave shelf! You measured perfectly!
Yes, I see the pool, and that is a nice location for your microwave. I see it has buttons for potato and for popcorn, that is interesting.
I LOVE where your microwave is!!! Mine is so far above my head it poses a danger to me unless I use a small step ladder! Same at the camper! The one on the front room at the ranch is on top of a mini fridge and it suits me perfectly!
LOVE your new one!! He Men are awesome but they only work on their own time table! We have to stand in line and wait....
congrats to the new helper... we really wonder what we have done before the microwave... was life possible that time?
I have a HE Man like that. Have fun with your new Microwave.
Hello,
I hope you like your new microwave, we use ours all the time. I did find the pool, cool reflection capture. Take care, enjoy your day!
Mine is countertop. And in use every single day. lol
Ya, I know what that's like. Bud saved some fence boards to repair the trash bin deck. The boards are from the damaged fence from Hurricane Harvey...5 years ago!! Nothing has been done...stacks of wood still sitting where he stacked 'em.

I am a tad jelly green
that you have a new machine]
in which to take a look
at the magic waving cook
which zaps real quick the food
so fast it must be good!!!
YAM xx (whose own old machine may be on the way out too...)

I do see the pool. I think the answer to how long the old microwave will be on the front porch is "till he gets around to it". That seems to be the way men measure time. It's exact length is undetermined because it depends on the situation and the level of inconvenience to him.
I like your new microwave and where it sits. I no longer ever use the popcorn button on mine but the potato button gets used a lot.
Just the right height for Beau to peer into. Microwaves have been around for decades and it seems that no one has even now really designed them into kitchens - so often they sit on bench tops, where the sweep of their doors makes the bench space in front of them redundant. F likes hers at the same height as yours but in our Greek kitchen it sits on top of our fridge where I can only glare at it. The horrible thing used to be used to defrost my meat - which always seemed to result in meat that was both too hot and frozen - a sort of catfood surprise when I bit into it. These days I get processed food out of a can. xxx Mr T
PS we've never seen a microwave with a popcorn button - does it fill up with popcorn and ping out everywhere when you open the door?
PSS. I wonder if anyone ever considered making a microwave with the door on the top....
I see the pool! I love your new microwave and KUDOS for Bob - I have the same thing here with hubs - after his heart issues. One day at a time.
Yes, saw the pool reflection, Sandra. Congrats on the "new" appliance and it looks nice in its location which hopefully will not be difficult to use, but does free up counter space. And, even if the return time has expired, you surely plan on keeping it.
Yep, I spotted the pool right away -- isn't it fun to 'watch' things in a reflection. (Thinking, "I spy!")
Glad to hear you replaced the old before there came an electrical fire. That was the first thing I thought of when ours started acting out.
Hard to wrap my mind around all the years I lived without one!
I love the new microwave and it's cubby. I have a Faberware electric skillet that I love. I didn't know they made microwaves. I spy the pool
Hugs Cecilia
I am just glad it is done and you can use it. The thought has crossed my mind, wondering how it would be if I had to replace ours.
Found it!! Its so bright and shiny and now you are back in business.
I sure need my microwave...I'm really spoiled and sometimes don't know how to "really" cook something.
I hope your outside micro won't become permanent out there though. Of course you could always make it into some kind of Lawn Art or a planter..haha..
Sue
I've been giggling for about 5 minutes because I misread and thought it was the He man sitting on a bench on your front porch.
Seriously thought, congrats to get He man to finally move it.
The new microwave looks very sleek. I like it a lot.
Too funny and true to MARRIED LIFE! We are still using our ancient microwave. It sits on our counter, not showing its age. But open the door and it's clear: It's demise is near.
Oh, and I did see the pool!
Hooray for the new microwave!!! Do you love it? It looks really nice.
Hurray! We do all of our cooking in the microwave or InstantPot, so we have an emergency microwave in our apartment in case our present one breaks. It's a necessity.
Reflections are always fun and I like your new microwave.
