Tree is DONE and Gone!

House 8 AM July 7, 2022

The crew arrived at 8:35 and left at 2:30 leaving this part of the tree.
The nicest guys ever. Hard Working and so Pleasant.
they left this giant stump because they did not realize how heavy and big around and did not have the proper equipment to finish it.

I would have been bummed about it, but was so relieved they and the noise was gone
we really did not care.
They promised either the other crew would come late afternoon or early am.
Next day, at 8:34 up pulled a truck and parked across the street.
A small truck, nothing that could pick up what was left, a man and a woman.
I asked are you taking down the rest of the tree and she said yes, we will take it down and another truck will pick it up from the curb.
I HAVE PHOTOS Ha ha
Off rolled the cutest little claw tractor, they tied the tree to the tractor and
10 minutes later it was DOWN.
20 minutes and 3 trucks later they were gone and
the house looked like this.
The Good news is, they did a super fantastic job as promised
The Sad News is, they had to remove part of the golden rain tree to get the bucket truck in close.
This time of year, the sun is way up North. We face North, the trees were there because of Tropical SUNSHINE and now they are not, and the front of the house is being blasted with heat.
It does LOOK good though.
Do you think if I called Google, they would take another satellite photo to show on maps?
😋
to be continued and continued and well, you know me.

So glad it's done, must be a relief. When we had our two trees removed all our shade was gone on the back of the house. We noticed the difference considerably and I don't sit out there very much any more. I will be waiting for the cooler weather.

That was one giant looming over your roof. Thank goodness it is gone. No worries for you when the crazy hurry-canes start forming

That was a huge and noisy job, I know you're glad it's over with. But I'm sure you will miss the tree.

Hello,
It is good to have that tree gone, it looked too close to the house.
Always nice to have a good job done and with fantastic workers.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Safe now from hurricane damage. I'd prefer the heat in the house compared to a huge tree falling down on the house.

Glad it's done.

They sure did a good job of clean-up.

Yay that they did what they promised to do. Looks nice and neat too.
I'm sure you will figure out what to put in its place to give you much needed shade.

WOW, it is BARE out there! How did you find such awesome people? And I don't think I have ever seen the entire front of your house from this angle. I was dissapointed that you did not paint the trim aqua, but this color is looking better and better.

It looks neat. Glad you got the tree removed successfully although the noise and activity with coming and going must have been trying. A bit of shade is good, but not too near a house.

I still can't get over the difference!
Aren't these tree people amazing? Seems like they're always in demand up here. With hurricane season approaching, I'm sure you'll rest easier know the monster tree is no longer a threat.

It does suck about the sunshine hitting the roof but they did a beautiful job. It looks awesome!!

What a relief to get that taken care of! And the workers are so good to work in the heat. We sure appreciate all the workers here in our neighborhood too and do a good job. Take care and enjoy the afternoon!

It certainly looks bare now. So what are you going to plant out there now? Macadamia? That would make the squirrels happy.

They did a great job. They left it looking very neat. You would never know there had been a tree there.

great job

maybe a trip to the garden store for some little trees to replant and get rid of the glare - something that grows fast but easy to care for

or maybe build a screen and plant a creeper on it - a bit like a sculpture
