I took these selfies with my little Canon Point and shoot, holding it out shooting blind.
I wanted to show you how tall the plants are with the monsoons.

My son Dan sent me the Monsoon Rain we had Monday Night. We are getting every night now. Yes, we get the same monsoons, he is about 40 miles away from us. 3 PM to 7 almost every day.

I can't believe this huge leaf! It is bigger than YOU!! It is like you did a special effect, but you did not!
P.S. I've never seen such a thing!
P.P.S. Leaf it to you...
I've seen these elephant ear plants before. They're near gigantic, are they not?!!

That's the sky crying a river... so glad you are finally getting enough rain to break that drought. Even if it is bombastic! YAM xx
WOW, that leaf is huge.
That is a lot of rain. If it rained like that here I would have water coming in my basement for sure.
Hello,
Cute photos of your and your plants. I just love those giant elephant ear leaves, they are beautiful. More rain would be welcomed here. Take care, enjoy your day!
The rain is good - right?
And we are getting nightly rain too.
OMDs that is a giant leaf...and evidently loves it's home.
Good thing Dan lives near boats. He might need to borrow one

Is it my imagination or is this year rain-ier than most?
Wow on that leaf. Those folks on Naked and Afraid would love having a few of those, don't you think? (Not that I'd know ...hahaha)
Glad you got your Jungle back and don't have to water your plants with dishwater any more... Hope it doesn't get TOO wet instead, though!!
Those plants must be on steroids. They are huge.
Wowsers on the monsoon...
Wish you could share a little of that with us today.
Our drought is pretty serious.
Those plants are HUGE..Love how you showed them to us..great comparison.
Looking forward to a party...family reunion today....haven't seen some of these people for 5 years.
I hope I can get some decent photos, so I have something to post again.

Glad you have rain!
That's some rain! And some plants!
Amazing plants. The size of those leaves is wonderful.
