Hot Diggity Dog

Monday, AM I woke Up Happy! The roof was on. I called the number on the dumpster and asked when they would pick it up because my husband has been without his truck for 10 days!
They laughed, yes, They, a man and a woman on speaker phone.
Lady said, we just got the request 5 minutes ago and will be there in 30 minutes.
I did not let the fact Simon did not report it Friday at 3 when done, or the fact they pickup on Saturday, stifle my joy!
It was 40 minutes, but who cares, and
it rolled out the driveway at 9 AM.

Roof is new, Dumpster Gone and Driveway is Clear, Truck and Kia are washed and put back inside, and I can see my flowers and get to the mailbox without hiking around the dumpster.

Your last two images have cracked me up! But at least the money was for a good cause, and there was no way aorund it. Hurrah, all is back to normal now! Which us seniors value almost more than anything.

Celebration justified; it smarts in the bank balance for a while, but it really is worth it. Take it from one who knows! YAM xx

Oh those last two pictures are perfect. I especially like the one with the little violin. Thank goodness this is all done now.

It’s never a happy time when there is a major house repair, Sandra, but at least now you won’t have to worry about any roof leaks. Glad the job is done, dumpster gone and Bob could move his truck.

You must be relieved to have all that done but those pictures say it all. Have been in the same boat as we all have at some time. Those last three gave me a smile.

"Hot diggity, dog diggity, BOOM ..." (Cue me some Perry Como, hee-hee.)

You know, I appreciate you're overlooking some of these little uh-oh's and picking your battles. I think there's a lesson there for me.

It’s a job that thankfully, only has to been done a few times in the lifetime of a house.
