Ian update 4 am

I used up a whole days battery power pulling My Radar up on the Chromebook! Watching Ian get closer and closer. I hope this plays for you, it is a video snip of the radar. Look closely at the blue dot center top and below you can see the eye is moving towards us.

snip of video just in case it will not play for you

I got tired of fretting and watching the TV weather guys, on 6 channels, to see if they all agreed. at 1 pm THEY said rain starting tonight, Tuesday at 6,  and Ian should be turning to the East about 30 miles south of us which made me feel so good I took a photo of the flashlight, candles and oil lamp to say

About six hours until Ian comes on shore, color me Scared To Death!

I have charged everything chargeable. I really hated the photo so I PLAYED IN PICMONKEY! Shocked! Right??

First - sending you positive vibes and wishes for safety; you are well organised and that counts for lots.

Second - and only because I know you like the geeky stuff; I think you may have loaded the radar as 'image' rather than 'video' on your edit page, so it definitely doesn't play. Not that it matters, one can see the size and threat just from this... YAM xx

With weather like that heading my way I would be right there along side you fretting also. So glad to hear Ian will be turning.

Just watched news of Ian on the news on Swedish television... Seems awfully close now. Thinking of you!!!

Funny, I too watched the news of Ian on Swedish TV and read their paper. That was yesterday, so I will go back now and check again. We just drove 50 miles back from Bakersfield. That's very close as far as hurricanes of Ian's size goes. Then the rain and the flooding. This will take a long time to clear up. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this now. Sendin love.

I'm still watching with fingers and toes crossed. Hurray for Picmonkey! I figure we're not completely helpless when we can create something.

You have a fascination of the storm like a stormchaser almost. So good to see this degree of interest in this weather.

Praying you got through the monster hoping water level at your place was not high as some places. Worst ever in your sate. Ugh
We had 4 provinces hit by previous. Things are just awful.
It hurts when you have friends but cannot help from afar except to pray and hpe.HUGS for your family.
