Pioneer Woman & Sunday Sunrise

Saturday morning while I was dishwashing, Bob's metal spatula snapped in half in my hands.
It is the only metal one in the house and is only used when Bob cooks breakfast on his cast griddle.
Holding Up Two Pieces, I said look what happened, his answer was, how did that happen?
I answered, I have no clue, I was scrubbing it and it snapped.
Murphy's law states, that if something can break AFTER I have been shopping, in fact only 20 minutes AFTER I got home from shopping, it will break then.
Fast Foward to Sunday AM
Bob sits Griddle on stove, turns it on and starts going through all the drawers, with WORDS as background, and I, knowing he is looking for the spatula, handed him the plastic one and said your metal one broke in half.
He replied, when did that happen?
ARRHHH yesterday when I showed it to you while you were watching Nascar.
Needless to say, the plastic did not work well! The eggs stuck, and the snarls continued.

I fussed and carried on about going back to Walmart and headed out the door because he uses it every morning and I did not want a repeat on Monday Morning.
I spent 10 minutes looking for a stainless-steel spatula.
The ONLY one in the Kitchen Utensils was an Aqua Handled Pioneer Woman that said, Jumbo Turner, good for flipping pancakes or cut and serve Meatloaf.
SIX DOLLARS and no mention of turning EGGS. 😋
I did fine a cheap long one for burgers on grills that was only 97 cents and a new plastic one because mine if worn out.
I paid my 17.77 for 4 items and grumped my way out the door and stood frozen staring at he sky.
It was even better than the Saturday Am sky the day before.
Plus, it had shades of Aqua
Standing with cell phone held high, I felt it was worth the extra trip to enjoy the sky, I drove into it all the way home.

Wow, pink and aqua striped! Worth every penny of $17.77! Why did you buy so many different ones?

That sky is beautiful. Now the question of the day is which one did Bob use? Did he like the cheap 97 cent one or the Pioneer Woman one?

I am glad you got the replacements for that sky alone. Incredible! Like Ann, I look forward to Bob’s opinion next time he uses them.

Get Bob one of those bbq egg flippers that looks like something a plasterer would use for smoothing out concrete (a bit like you puoneer woman version) - a real man-trowel. They would survive a nuclear blast. You seem to be having bad luck with things reaching end of useful life this week.

Hello,
I would think metal would scratch the pans. Every thing seems to cost more money. WOWSER, your sky shots are beautiful. Lovely series of photos.
Take care, enjoy your day!

That sky is wonderful...I would want to park and just enjoy the show. That is what I used to do at the strip pits.

How pretty! I can't get over how some people never pay attention.

Right away my eyes flew to that aqua spat. Isn't that the same as teal? And why is the handle a darker shade than the label? (OCD me) We've no cast iron, but my preference would be the black/red Faberware. Tom loves his spats, and if anything should happen to him, that's the first place I'm going to start purging.

See...God knew you needed a boost in your day.
Gorgeous sunrise to offset the spatula drama.
Here's hoping Bob will be satisfied with the one you bought.
A friend has a friend coming to trim our fruit trees (for free) Dear friends that don't want Dave up on the ladder..I'm so thankful.
I've got to do some decent housecleaning today. We have our small group coming for dessert and catching up on life time. It's been far too long.
