Nature makes wonderful art.

I guessed that it is some kind of wood, so I was right!!! It is gorgeous, and ready-made furniture.

Wood bark most likely. The pattern is intriguing.

I'm still not sure why no notifications arrive in my inbox - so of course, I forget to drop by. Love the way the bark has evolved on the stump

The first two look like something in a high-end art gallery. Isn't nature cool?!

That is so super cool we might save the photo with your permission and use it on our screen saver. F loves anything with wood but she is drooling over that. I, the Tigger, feel the need to sharpen my claws on it. xxx Mr T

Our Power has been out all morning: According to power company "outage due to an object falling on lines" aka somebody ran into a tree or pole knocking out power.
I would never in 100 years guessed that was a stump.
Just beautiful I love the cracked pot...folks pay big bucks for pre cracked pots.

Your tree stump with the natural grain showing is a perfect way to display your pots of rock roses. I love the look of the crack, also very natural and endearing.

Hello Sandra
At first, I was stumped, he he! Then I remembered your past post and knew it was the bark of the tree stump. Nature's beauty is everywhere you just have to look. I like your pretty potted flowers.
Have a great weekend.
