Alva, Nov 2021-Oct 2022

Alva, RIP - Nov 2021-Oct 2022
Murdered by her Mother's Hand.
Death by Fertilizer!
Forgive me, I loved you so.

I seem to be losing my mind. She was stunning and when I fertilized Philomena, I must have put to much for a tiny fig.
Yesterday, I forgot to read my Feedly and thought that I had, I did discover midafternoon that
I had spent the morning organizing photos and read NO ONE'S BLOG
If I missed You, I am sorry
My excuse is: we did 90 minutes of YARD Work AGAIN, more dragging of limbs to the curb.

Joining Rosy, at Adventures of the LLB Gang for Nature Friday.
In my case, Nature gone awry!

Oh gosh. I do not fertilize my plants, I have a lot of plants. And they do just fine. It is too easy to make mistakes with it, and it scares me. Also, when you re-pot a plant, all they need to grow well is the fresh dirt.

we hope there is a alvaII maybe in your house who can replace the green friend...

I never fertilize plants. I barely remember to water them. That definitely looks like a plant that would be in my house.

Hello,
I am sorry for the loss of your pretty Alva. My hubby has the green thumb, I only care for a Snake plant and I am trying an orchid for the first time. Hubby is in charge of all the other plants, indoor and outdoor. Have a great day and a happy weekend.

Oops, the murder she wrote. Now 6 hour of garden work is impressive. Full respect.

Now this is ME and indoor plants. I can relate.

RIP to Alva and this is why indoor plants are not for me, Sandra, as they might not survive. Is there any way to revive some of Alva?

You still have so much to do and it's hard to keep up with it all. I hope you get some rest this weekend!

You are doing good to do any blogging at all!

It sounds like you and Bob are giving the Energizer Bunny a run for his money!
I never thought about fertilizing my plants. Like Ann, I do good remembering to keep them watered.

Try and relax this weekend, okay?

Alva RIP pretty one.
We have a similar scene happening outside a Sky Pencil shrub and some boxwoods. The landscaper who planted them about 5 years ago was here yesterday. took some photos of them to show to the nursery where they were purchased.

Oops! Never mind, others can be adopted from rescue centres for homeless plants. She had a good life and knew she was loved. Is there a rainbow bridge for plants? xxx Mr T

If I had any plants and I do not anymore - they would all look like that fertilized or unfertilized!

Awww, so sorry about that but I am not very good with house plants and you have been brilliant at it. She was loved!

She lasted about 49 weeks more than any of my houseplants

I used to be good at houseplants when we lived in our other home. Here not so much...Mine eventually look like poor Alva.
You two are really doing an awesome clean up job. At least it gets Bob away from the tv for a while (:0)
Take care and don't wipe yourself out completely.
I'm doing much better and things are beginning to turn green and yellow in spots. Its so "beautiful".
Hubby Dave says I sure take awful selfies..I have to agree...but at least I have got a record of the fall.
