Bray Park Pickleball Pavillion

On our Sunday visit to Bray Park for Beaus Sniffing PHUN, and a walk, Bob said what is that?
I said it must be the new pickleball courts. Our friend Jackie said her daughter CC has been paying pickleball at Bray Park.
we get to the Park at 6:30 as the sun is breaking day, the lights were beautiful, but the rising sun was washing out the sky.
Quick! what did I do?  I TAPPED the Screen on the phone and
Voila! perfect night shots at sunrise
and a new header

18 pickelball court and there are two of these pavilions sitting side by side covering them, right next to the pool and a dozen tennis courts.

Ann and Ginny asked what is pickleball.
As far as I can tell, it is a combo of tennis, badminton, pingpong and
is played on a much smaller court than tennis, with a net, and a paddle.
just type in search and there is a zillion things to read
Its TRENDING right now.
Trend on, we are way to old to play it for sure.

This post is one of 14 that were created Before Mouse Shoulder forced me to take a Break.
Brian we are thankful for the park and thankful for being back in the blog saddle

Great photos Sandra! The lighting is perfect! Pickle ball is the new in thing it seems and a lot of fun. I have a couple of family members who are all in and have made some great friends.

Our next door neighbors turn our cul-de-sac into their own personal pickle ball court. They draw the perimeters of the court with chalk and have a net. They have to move the net when folks at the bottom of the cul de sac need to come by.
that is a very nice facility at Bray Park!!

How pretty those courts look!
Okay, I'm sorry. I realize those pickleball players are far more talented/coordinated (fill in the blank) than I am ... but anytime someone says "Pickleball" I can't help giggling. It sounds to me (sorry again) positively moronic -- like a fraternity party prank.
Doesn't help that Tom's BIL was named captain of their team and invited to regionals. Bahahahahah!

Pickleball is all the rage here too. Actually it sounds like a lot of fun...if I was WAY, WAY younger.
Great photos and fixing the blown out sky.
Glad you've got your nook up...we "ain't" got nothing yet and company is a comin' on Tuesday. So much to do and so little energy to do it.
