"buzzards' were circling"

BOB WAS SICK FOR 4 DAYS,
I WAS SICK FOR 4 DAYS
HIS COVID STARTED 4 DAYS AFTER WE ATE PIZZA OUT
MINE STARTED ON HIS 4TH DAY
ON MY 2/3 DAYS I HEARD BUZZARDS IN THE AVOCADO TREE AND HOPED THEY HAD COME FOR ME
I WAS TO SICK TO READ OR EVEN WATCH TV, DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT ANYTHING CONNCTED TO INTERNET.

WE WERE BOTH 4 DAYS ON SOFA OR BED UNTIL 5TH DAY AND WE WOKE
UP AND WENT AHHH! I CAN BREATHE,
HIS WAS NOT AS BAD AS MINE.
A FAUCET TURNED ON MY FIRST DAY AND DID NOT TURN OFF

MY EYES WET THE PILLOW; THEY RAN CONSTATNLY
HIS DID NOT
MY NOSE NEVER STOPPED.
HIS WAS CLOGGED, MINE WAS ON
HE RAN NO FEVER
I RAN LOW TEMPS 94 TO 96, HAD CHILLS ON THAT DAY
HE DID NOT
WE BOTH COUGHED OUR LUNG OUT, BUT HIS COUGHING WAS DIFFERENT.
I COUGHED SO MUCH MY RIBS WERE SORE.

I TELL YOU ALL THIS BECAUSE I THINK HE DID BETTER BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF 10 DAYS OF ANTIBIOTIC AND PREDESONE
 BECAUSE HE
WEED WACKED POISON IVY AND HAD TO GO TO TWO DOCTORS
HIS LEG HAS A CUT FROM A RUSTY TRACTOR, CELLULITIS
AND ARMS AND LEGS LOOKED LIKE SWOLLEN HAMBURGER FROM THE IVY.

WE HAVE SURVIVED AND ON MY DAY 5 HIS DAY 8
HE YELLED COME OUTSIDE I WANT YOU TO SEE THIS
AND THERE THEY WERE
BUZZARDS EVERYWHERE

I RAN OUT WITH THE ZOOM ON CELL PHONE AND DOCUMENTED FOR ALL OF YOU THAT THEY WERE IN OUR AVOCADO TREE AND THE NEIGHBORS
NEXT DOOR, THE RENTAL HOUSE.
THE HAWK HAD MADE A KILL IN THE RENTAL HOUSE FRONT YARD, AND WAS SCREAMING AND ATTACKING THE ONE ON THE POWER LINE CAUSING THEM TO SETTLE IN OUR TREES WHILE THEY WATCHED TWO ON THE
GROUND DEVOURING SOMETHING I DID NOT TAKE A PHOTO OF

I MIGHT HAVE BUT I WAS IN MY FLANNEL GOWN, THEY WERE ON A BUSY STREE, WHIC WAS PROBABLY WHERE THEY GOT THE ROADKILL.
I  COULD NOT GET CLOSE ENOUGH BECAUSE THEN SOMEONE WITH A CELL PHONE WOULD BE POSTING PHOTOS OF THE HALF DEAD WOMAN IN THE
AQUA FLANNEL GOWN TAKING PHOTOS OF ROADKILL SURROUNDED BY BUZZARDS

the buzzards are lingering, I wonder what' next?

Oh my gosh! I am SO glad you are both better now, you have really been through it. We haven't eaten out in over two years, because you have to take your mask off to eat. We might consider it if we could eat outside. It is GREAT to see you back!!

It's so good to have you back, but I'm sorry you had to go through all the misery. ❤️

Oh no. Sorry you both sick. Tim and I got Covid around the same time a bit ago. Oy. Glad you're getting better. I get not wanting to be online during times of being sick. Huggs, Me.

It is great to see an updated post from you. Covid really sucks, I am glad you are better feeling better now. The vultures are a great clean up crew, but the hawks can be very mean. Take care, stay safe! Have a great day!

Those vultures would make me feel like I was their next meal!!

Be well & continue to heal. I don't want to think of you two with "long COVID"!!!

What is it with men and their desire to share - I thought I’d managed to stay clear of the virus but The Golfer had other ideas. I tested +ve 12 days after him. Must of let my guard down while doing the heavy lifting when he was so sick.

Here’s hoping you are both up and running soon, I know I won’t be - tiredness rules my day.

Not sure I’d like buzzards hanging around, are they a daily sighting?
Take care
Cathy

I'm so, so sad you had to endure all the water works, aches and pains! Gosh, those buzzards/vultures/??? look like a scene right out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Nasty things.

PS - Your mention of an aqua nightgown did make me smile!

YIKES!!!
You never do anything half way for sure.
So glad you are better.
I love that Bob wanted you to document the buzzards in the yard.
At least you still have your sense of humor.
I still have a lingering dry cough but nothing like you have had.
Life is interesting for sure.

I am glad you and Bob are over COVID! I can't believe you got it - you had it before - right? I am so sorry.
But I can tell you this - you write a great funny story tho. And those buzzards - what in the world.
Glad you stayed in though.
Love, sandie
