Copper Penny 1936 Hudson

I fell in love with this truck! Bob was watching Full Custom Garage and I sometimes watch it with him.
the older the truck the more we love them.
I took these photos from the TV screen with my iPhone

Above is Live video from iPhone, only 2 seconds long
Below you see the 1936 Hudson in its Rusty condition. The man who owned it wanted it customized with electric windows, door locks and paint to look like a copper penny
You can't tell by my photos, but it was the exact color of copper.

The crew on this show are truly talented artists. you can watch their shows by clicking here.

some of the crew are also on Bitchin Car Rides and I did Prior Post on cartoon car.

I like both of these shows on TV
From rusty old 1936 Hudson, also the year hubby was born, to extreme beauty.

That has always been a dream of mine!! Buy an antique car (model t) and fix it up to make it street legal...from the first spark plug to the hood ornament!!

I really love some of these restoration shows. True artistry.
What a gorgeous copper truck and your shot from the TV is really great too.
We are suppose to have another deluge this afternoon.
Going to stay cozy in the house and work on eBay stuff.
Tomorrow (Sunday)after church, I (GET) to be at Lynne's for 4 hours..Glad for the extra pay but I have to gear my brain up for it.
And so my days roll on and on and on...

Oh my goodness, talk about the Ugly Duckling revisited! Makes me want to put on a period costume and have Tom drive me about the town.
I've never heard of that show but will look to see if we can't get it here.

How about that. So nice and clean and shinny. Nothing like my car!

That was a beautiful restoration and whenever we have been to car shows, I have always admired the workmanship, effort and cost involved to bring these vehicles back.

Same colour as Mr B's new bike. Since he got it he has been looking fir a matching motor vehicle! That one would suit him just fine (and F would like it too). I like anything I can ride in. Xxx Mr T

I love these old classics. My in-laws had something similar in their garage that my father-in-law was working on for years.
