Hearts for Annie

Bob sat eating his bowl of Cheerios and said while holding out his spoon towards me.

LOOK, I found a heart in my cheerios.

I took it to admire it and we discussed we had never seen a heart in it before, it must be a mistake. He continued to eat and I watched as he picked up 3 hearts on one spoon.

I said you have two more hearts. Hooting Annie would love this, I will have to do a post. Bob said who is Hootin Annie, I gave my standard answer when I talk about all of you at one time or another.

She is a blogger friend.

He always shakes his head and says, you talk about them like they are real friends. YOU ARE, just so you know.'

OOPS Mad Chatter took over.  Any whoo, I jumped up and grabbed the box of Cheerios out of the cabinet and we both started to laugh.. All Three side of four had words and pictures of hearts.

This was NOT a new box; it was half eaten. How did we both eat half a box of cereal and NOT see the hearts?

That's neat, and funny, about the hearts, but blogging friends aren't real friends? Sheesh!

I can see missing it while it's in your bowl because sometimes a person is half asleep while eating breakfast. But, it's pretty noticeable on the box...lol

And yes...I think WE ARE friends!!

Hello,
I saw that the Cheerios were out in the heart shapes, they are cute.
Is it a good thing not to look too closely at what we are eating?

Take care, enjoy your day!

it's a cute idea with the hearts ;O))) we often see things while we see them not really ;O))) that makes no sense but it sometimes feels like that LOL

I have never eaten Cheerios so I am unable to comment on the cereal, but I certainly know that blogging friends are friends, without any need for further qualification. I have met some in person, stayed in their homes, birded with them, and maintained the association afterwards. One of them who was very kind to me and had a marvellous facility for Barn Owls on his property when he was part of a breeding study, passed away two years ago and it took a while to accept that I would never have news of him again.

What a terrific marketing idea! I wonder why it was only a 'limited edition.' 'Seems odd they wouldn't make it permanent since it claims to be heart healthy. Hope whoever came up with that got a raise ... or at least an atta-boy bonus check.

PS - Thank you for being a REAL friend. (*grin*)

So glad we are "Friends". Even though we are so many miles apart, I consider you my Friend. I am always telling Dave what my Blogging Friend in Florida says. I think he feels like you are a family friend too.
Funny on the heart Cherrios. I thought it was because they are suppose to be heart friendly.
Well the rain has started and the wind is blowing so I guess the next "wave" is finally here.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I have Cheerios on my grocery list this week I'll look for at box with hearts.
JUST so BOB knows we probably know more about you that some of your family. One thing about friends is we get to choose who they are and we all chose each other.
This morning I had my Senior Medicare Wellness physical. Took most of my morning. But worth it I rec'd a good report.

That's too funny. We have had heart Cheerios several times. I guess they are just fun to eat.

That's really funny. Mr B would do that - we can just see it playing out. They clearly don't taste any different. So you both will be dancing your heart out this week then? Xxx Mr T and F

That is funny that you didn't notice sooner. I was going to say I have seen commercials showing that they come in a heart shape.
