Hi, its MORE POO plus an alert

Above is POO.....(perfectly ordinary object)
Can you guess what this is before getting to the answer at the end?

Awareness Alert! above is a snip of 3 spam emails, 3 of about 30 a day.
All three-look realistic and have links in them.
Both of the Amazon look just like they came from Amazon. One said, you need to update your charge card because its time to charge your annual fee for Prime.
Aha! it is NOT time until June.

Next day I got an email saying someone is sending Phishing emails using Amazon, please verify any info in emails by logging into your account the way you always do.
Saturday I received an email from my TRUE bank giving 3 ways to avoid scams.

That red mark is a link, it says check trending scams,
I did not click the link, it was not the bank.

DO NOT CLICK ON A LINK is my MOTTO.
Be Careful

I go to the site and verify or to the FTC.gov site
search trending scams for the name of the bank or business

The answer to POO) perfectly ordinary object) is below.

If you guessed dried up from non-use Zest Soap or just soap, you are correct.

Wow. How come it sat out, but was not used for so long? My guess was a log. GREAT scam info!! Now I know more specifics to be on the lookout for!

I had no idea what it was...I would never have guessed that!

Thanks for the head’s up on the cam. For months I get a message on my text about my Amazon account being terminated unless I click on the link to fix it. Needless to say it is ditched immediately. Never would have guessed it was soap.

Hello,
I thought a piece of wood. I would have never guessed a bar of soap.
The scams are getting ridiculous. I have had the same scam emails from Norton saying the same thing. I do not have Norton and the email they used is for my junk/spam email. I see a lot emails and texts coming from banks that I do not use I have had one from my bank. Everyone has to be careful. My bank will not send out those texts. Have a great day and happy new week!

LOL, I thought it might be something with layers of tinfoil! You really got us on this POO!

As for those scams, yes, there are lots of such things, and it is absolutely correct that you should go to the source! I am very fortunate that GMail seems to catch pretty much all such nonsense - not that I get that many, even then. I have never quite figured out why some folk seem to more 'targetable' than others. YAM xx

The scams are getting more numerous, more frequent and more sophisticated. One has to be a computer detective. As for the dried up soap, I guessed a paper bag - so much for my sleuthing skills.

LOL, I didn't know what that was even after seeing the last picture.
I hate those scam e-mails. I never click the link. If I have any doubts about my accounts I will go directly to their website and check through there.

Never in a million years! My first instinct was a bunch of celery.

Thank you for sharing about these latest scam artists. I remember someone saying years ago, "These people are actually brilliant. If they just used their brains for something legal ...."

A fun little mystery that I never would have guessed!

You're right about the e-mails, and don't get me started on the texts I get about my Netflix account being cancelled, or whatever - I may be concerned about that, but I don't and have never had a Netflix account. 🤗🤣

Have a good week!

The phishing and scams are getting worse every day.
We get a ton each day. I try to never open any of them. Too scary

I would have never guessed the POO photo. I don't even remember seeing Zest commercials on TV any more. Is it still around?

BOL BOL dried up Zest soap. Too funny Bryan uses dial or Irish Spring. As the they get to small to use he starts building a tower out of them.

I usually do not click on links like that, but it is good to get a reminder.

Hi Sandra :=) I guessed a bunch of celery! Have you changed from solid soap to liquid soap?
If I get something like you get, I never click on it, but I rarely get a spam message.

A good post about the dangers of spam and how devious spammers have become, Sandra. From the previous comments it seems that many of us are savy enough to trash these, but then many have not been as cautious. That crusted soap was a mystery to me and celery was my first thought too.

Just read your current post and sorry to read about the health issues, again. Sending you all good wishes to be feeling better soon.
