Almost wordless Wed... I just had to Moan about the emails stopped coming in to let me know when you comment. The Fix doesn't work, it says it is already there.

It is a pretty plate. I read mine in email and comment moderation page.
I read my comments on the blog post.....I am not techy so I just go to the post....
Your changing images are lovely. I get a Blogger alert sound on my iphone (unless on mute). Then I read a new comment and decide whether to approve or not. (Spam is annoying so moderation setting is on).
I use the wp reader.. but... with all their remodeling it becomes a challenge... sigh...

Oh, I am glad it is not just me - suddenly I thought everyone was ignoring me! Not really, I check my blogger dashboard for spam every morning, and that is when I discovered that I did indeed have comments that no longer got alerted by email... sigh... frustrating. YAMxx

Hope you are feeling better, Sandra, and to answer your question, I only check comments on the blog and have never received them by email. And, I also check for spam comments each morning, sometimes there are nine, sometimes one or several, including ones from bloggers that are flagged as spam! Yet even though I do mark spam comments as such, it seems bloggers pays no mind😕
Wordpress sends email notifications of comments and there’s a reply function as well which means you don’t even have to go to the blog. You can see them and reply via the reader as well but I like to see them on the actual post - and reply from there.
I’ve read about the blogger comment email hiccup on a couple of blogs today so it’s not just you feeling the pain Sandra.

I usually get email notification, but always go to the comment section on my blog to answer comments and then I usually notice if one I got as email is missing, and I need to go and look for it in the spam section... Occasionally it's the other way round but not very often.
The plate in all the photos is beautiful.
First I read all the comments on my blog comment box
then I have a blog list that I check.

That second image is so cool! When I first read this (on my phone) I thought there was something wrong with my eyes.
I don't get that many comments -- some of my 'regulars' don't blog so much anymore. But I'd say it's half-and-half -- I read on my e-mail and here on the dashboard. Every so often I still check the comments section to be sure Big Brother hasn't decided someone's comment is dangerous and marked it spam. Phooey!
I get email notification and then I go to the blog itself to respond to the comment or to leave comments on other blogs.
On one blog, I get the emails, on the photo one, I have to go and check. Sometimes they sit there for ages before I find them. They are both set the same way.

Mine come through email though I read them from the blog. I find it frustrating though how many comments, including mine, end up in spam still.

I read the comments on my blog and then go to their blog to comment back usually. I have a few that comment to me via email.
Maybe that's why I haven't been getting too many comments lately, but I just keep plugging along any-hoo.

I have always just gone down my sidebar and clicked on new comments. It is quick, easy, and no need going into e-mail, it is all right there. The glass plate is beautiful! Do you keep it out all the time?
I don't use email option. Tried it, and it was so overwhelming.

Hello Sandra, I hope you are feeling better. I read my comments on my blog. First I check for spam and then when I have sorted the ones that got there by mistake and deleted the others I read my comments. Love the silver and gold effects you made.
