A knock on the door heralded the mango Fairy paying us a visit,
I said to Beau who is it?
We found Beaus Godmother, Jackie's husband, Richard at the door,
He had bags of mangos all over the porch floor.
there were red ones and green ones, too many to count.
It really was a ginormous amount!
Two bowls and a box overrun with fruit,
and yet another box of really green ones to boot.
we left the green on the bench,
to ripen and hope they left no stench.
I took two bags of 8 each to my two friends,
and left all of these to ripen and peel, freeze and blend.
Each day I make ice cream of frozen fruit, exactly at 10.
Thank You Jackie and Richard, for mango from your yard,
and for working to pick the, we know it was hard.
Beau say he would rather trade the fruit for a petting visit with HIM.

What a lovely blog post! Your visitors brought you their company and delicious fruit.
How sweet!
oh that is great... you can make your own ice cream now :O)
What a wonderful gift. Mangos here cost an arm and a leg and they have of course been picked so much earlier sometimes they never seem to really ripen and stay hard. Who can resist mangos - the fruit of heaven to be sure.
Yum. What a great gift. And even better that there was enough you could share with other friends too.
Hello,
What a nice gift, I like mangos, yum. It is nice to could give some to your friends too. Take care, enjoy your day!
What a great supply of mangoes your neighbors gifted you with, Sandra, and nice that you could pay that forward and gift other neighbors😀I enjoy mangoes as well, and it’s too bad we didn’t live closer!
They are so pretty and I know they are delish!
Beau's Fairy Godmother was very kind
Hugs Cecilia
What generous friends!
I don't know that I've ever seen a mango (noticed, rather) -- much less, tasted one. Should I put that on my List?
Lucky humans. Mangoes are very expensive in UK and it is difficult to buy ripe ones (F used to get them in a Bangladeshi market in London but it has been years since she was able to get to that market). She says they used to fall off trees in the Caribbean. Imagine hving too many mangoes - is that even possible? xxx Mr T and F
Wow, what a treat. I've never bought more than one mango at a time and like some others who commented I find it hard to determine when they're ripe and best to eat.
What a wonderful treat!! I really enjoy mangoes too!
Wowzers...that's a lot of mangos...
Lucky YOU !!
They cost a fortune in our stores and aren't very good either.
All I can say is YUMMM

I am so jealous. What a great treat they gave to you. How nice that you shared them too! I love mango's.
Those are good friends to pick and bring them to you. And I bet Beau was overjoyed.
Oh my goodness, how wonderful and such good friends!
So leaving them outside, won't beau eat them? I know when you go out with him, you have to be on mango patrol. Well...maybe that is avocados!
What a nice surprise and Yum!
You have sweet neighbors! They remind me of how you share your avocados!
