Monday, due to rain, we walked at 7:30 AM not daybreak at 7. As Beau and I wandered, the sun topped the tallest trees, painting each limb with sunshine. I missed the first few minutes because I do not use my phone while walking. The beauty was calling to me.
The freshly washed grass and trees were slowly painted with beauty, our ears listened to the music of birds gone crazy from the rain.
It was so beautiful I stopped and asked Beau to Stay and he did, and stayed twice more, once for each of these trees.
Beau was poking his nose here and there and suddenly he flushed a covey of Doves, about 12, I think! I felt a total rush of feelings. the sound of the wings, the site of them lifting suddenly, the sun glinting on their wings, my soul soared with the beauty.
In the midst of our lives, we must find the magic that makes our souls soar.

The big old tree is monstrously gorgeous! And it looks like it's trunk is made of a lot of smaller trunks. Looks like a child lives there because there is a swing in it. What kind of tree is it, do you know? The first two photos of the sun-drenched tree are just gorgeous.
You paint a very special moment in time. What an amazing sight the tree is, all bathed in sunlight. Great capture!
My word you are in a poetic mode this morning. You’ll have to get Beau to flush doves more often!
Oh, I feel it all...love the way the sun is painting your world!

Astoundingly good morning to you, Sandra!!! That top shot in particular is a Top Shot!!! YAM xx
Hello,
Beautiful scenes and photos. I love the sunshine, the shadows and those big trees are lovely. Take care, have a great day!
Beautiful trees and your description of the morning sounds heavenly. I love that quote about finding the magic that makes your soul soar.
Beautiful! I love how you were treated to a front-seat performance of Nature's symphony. Early mornings are my favorite, as well ... how the rising sun colors those things it touches, each one different. And yes, the birds, how they happily chatter to one another, not a worry in the world.
Beautiful. I do love big old trees! I'm very rarely up with the sun in summer though (and even more rarely OUT that early). Somewhat better chance in winter (when the sun is late getting up too, plus we turn the clocks back...) but then there are often other factors in the way of going out early (like rain and snow and cold!)
The trees look beautiful in the sunlight.
Yes, oh yes, we do need to look for and find things that make our hearts and spirits SOAR...
What a lovely morning full of sunshine and music in the air.
Glad you stopped to capture it.

I love this quote. Never heard it until today
'In the midst of our lives, we must find the magic that makes our souls soar.

It has been raining steadily and often very heavy since
8:30 am. BUT we need it...just didn't need it all in one day
Hugs Cecilia
Those trees really look magical in that light. Oh the stories they could tell.
That sounds like a perfect morning!
