Our three ducks came back and were swimming in the pool, I took 4 photos all of which were great of the ducks but not the pool or deck they were in and on.
Above is a combo of 3 of the photos, I removed the background and found beautiful green grass on PicMonkey free photos and popped them in.
We are here to celebrate World Wildlife Day, connecting people and our planet.
I simply stomped my feet right after I took this photo and the three of them lifted up across the pool over the roof in perfect synchronization.
not good, but better with help from PicMonkey, see below
Up, Up and Away we love you guys |

Mallards! And great vibrant colors. It is too hard for me to snap flying birds, even with the camera set to motion mode.
You did a great job with those photos! 👍
How nice of them to visit so you could take their pictures. Also nice of them to leave when you wanted them too. Guests who overstay their welcome are simply annoying.
The Mallards are great visitors to your yard and I think they love your pool.
Great photos and images. Take care, enjoy your day and have a great new week!
Hello Sandra :=)
Lovely photo of the ducks with the green grass in the background. You are so clever! I think it's nice that the ducks remember you and visit your pool each year.

This kind of manipulation raises serious questions in my mind about the ability to willfully “create” images to authenticate sightings of rare birds, or for other nefarious purposes. Maybe kids will be able to goof off in the park and have pictures “proving” they were in school. Where this ends I have no idea.
There are mallards in our neighborhood but Copper won't allow them in our yard.
I recall that you identified these ducks last year as something other than mallards (look like mallard ducks to me but had looked up you kind and see they are very similar to the untrained eye - what were they again?) Anyway i love the photo of them poolside - real ducks, impressionist pool and yard background. Focus is entirely on the ducks. Looks like they have your place 'pinned' on their Duckle Maps now
Ducks are amazingly strong, agile fliers. I was surprised that wild turkeys are the same. Didn't know that until I started hunting back in the '80s.
Have a blessed Sunday kuz'n (distantly via the McCall's). 💙💙
Yes the Ducks are back as are the Geese. While on my EMW todaya flock of geese passed overhead. YIKES I always worry I might get splatter when they are doing a flyover.
Ummm maybe they don't use the loo when flying
Hugs Cecilia
Those are some good looking ducks even if their pool party ending too soon!
How precious these are! Do you ever wonder if they're family members -- or just BFF's?
I've not seen any nearby ducks, but the geese have begun flying overhead a couple of early mornings. I'm fascinated how they honk, encouraging one another.
(Did you ever read the "Goose Sense" story about their formations? https://www.robrowsell.com/the-goose-story)
That makes me wonder if ducks aren't the same way.
They are cute but I probably wouldn't want them in my yard pooping on the ground.
Love the obedience of the ducks..you stomp and they fly..fun AI fixing.
Today its on again off again rain and in the 40's..burrr bring on the warmer weather please.
Trying to get my energy level up..its really in the pits. Got so much stuff up on eBay and nothing is selling. Need some moola asap! So I guess I had better get back at it again.
hugs

I love, love, love this!!! We are getting some landing here in our yard. I guess they are flying south???
Oh, I didn't know it was world wildlife day! I would have been out there watching the wildlife, but it has been a rather rainy and cloudy day, and so our wildlife was not quite as active as usual. And we were busy between church this morning and our kids here for lunch afterwards, and we enjoyed visiting while we cooked chicken and cleaned up and then made brownies and ate them. So, we had our own version of "wildlife" today. LOL. I LOVE your photos! The Mallards are wonderful. WE have some beautiful Wood Ducks here on our own Still Waters Pond, but they are shy and do not like to come close to our side of the pond, so my pictures of them are rare and few. They are really beautiful creatures that God has created. Thank you for sharing the beauty around you!
You work magic with your photos! I know how you love all sorts of critters! Even BOB!!
I would enjoy having those visitors and you did a great job on these flight photos. Nice effects too.
