New Batteries for Canon SX600

I replaced the batteries in my Nikon 610 and found it was 9 years old and that now it works like it always did. I had no clue how old the Canon SX600 is and when I ran a search of past posts and up popped a post with the photo below.

I read the post, and it found a setting on the old camera I had forgotten about (really).

The setting takes 8 bursts, each photo is different scenes of same photo. What we do not use, we lose!

Can you guess what might appear soon on the MadSnapper blog?
Will there be 8 photos of something ODD?
Do you think it is ODD that I post what I buy, or is it ODD I took 4 photos of the scene from my lap?

Am I Odd?
I certainly hope so.

I tremember the cam... I had a silver thingy ... now we do everything with the phone... I like it better... but one thing was even better in old days... you never had a finger in your photo... now I have my finger or marks finger in nearly all shots... ugh...

The camera is cute! I like your doggie photo, is it your blogs header photo? The flowers are beautiful. Take care, have a great day!

Canon has had a very reliable series of cameras over the years. I still use the Canon SX50 PowerShot and my wife the Canon SX70 PowerShot. They serve us well.

I think I remember you posting about that setting way back when. I can't wait to see what you do with this.
Do I think you're odd? Well if you are so am I because you don't do anything I haven't tried myself.

This post made me giggle. If you're odd I am as well. For me, odd is good. I don't want to (and can't) be like everyone else. As Popeye would say, "I yam what I yam." As long as we're walking close to Christ and His will He loves us just as we are. Amen?! Keep doing your art as you please. It's a good release and adds colour to an already joyful life.
Blessings. 💙

You are not ODD...you are Masterfully Unique!!
I love how you research and just get into things.
About all we are getting into today is house cleaning and grocery shopping for our Small Group get together tomorrow night.
That means all the eBay "treasures" have to be stored away from eyes so we can eat at our dining room table..haha..
It does get the house deep cleaned anyhoo...

Alllll right! It's such a cool-looking play-pretty. Maybe you can call it 'Lazarus' since it's been raised from the dead. (lol)
I don't know about ODD, but love your individuality.

Sorry to be tardy, but despite all my warnings to others I accidentally downloaded a virus from FB. What a mess!

You remind me I really need to go through a drawer full of old technical/electrical things I'll probably never use again...!

I'm actually impressed that you have been trying your old cameras. I have no desire to try mine. I should just throw them away.
