I have never been a PINK Girl/teen/woman/senior. Browsing in WM for a 100% cotton gown, I found this pink one, purchased it and came home to model for Bob and said,
what do you think? Its Barbie pink.
He said, I like it, you look good in pink. I have never liked pink, but I like this.
I said everything in the store is now Barbie Pink!
He said what is Barbie Pink? He had no clue who Barbie was in the past or is in the present. The thing is, a few nights ago we watched the Oscar Awards and the Barbie movie had 8 nominations AND I watched Ryan Gosling Ken Dance TWICE, click on twice to see it as many times as you would like.
Bob even came in the computer room when he heard the music and said what are you watching?
I answer the Ken Dance from Barbie. He left and had no clue what I was watching.
He is still unaware that Barbie the Movie has taken over the USA. He does know who Taylor Swift is because he grumps every time she is on TV screen.
Imagine my surprise when I found Barbie Pink Glass Flamingos in Home Depot Garden shop.
I wanted them but Just said No.. they are solar lights. And now I know of 2 things I like in
Barbie Pink. I say Barbie Pink because Flamingo Pink is not this color.
I have not seen the movie but I have watched the trailer which did not make me want to watch the movie, but I may have watched the Ken Dance a third time. I love dancing and dancers.

The other dancers all danced, but Ryan Goseling did not, he only sang! He did sing good, but maybe he does not dance well. Either way, he is nice to look at for sure. He is very pretty in pink...I have not seen the movie either, and don't want to. I had wanted to take the girls to see it, then found out it was mainly for adults.

I did watch the video of I'm just Ken. I was expecting him to dance but like Ginny said he just sang.
Pink looks great on you. In fact you make pink look great, not the other way around. My daughter had Barbie dolls when she was little; other than that I am with Bob. I know nothing of Barbie, movies, Hollywood, hype, publicity, trends, fashion, fads, hysteria……and never will! Of that you may be sure.

I'm so glad you bought that gown! Normally I really (really) DISlike pink, but it/this looks great on you.
I wasn't planning to watch the Oscars, but for the sake of tradition it pulled me right back. Plus, I may have had a 'vested interest' (lol) in a certain movie. Remember, that was my hometown. I never watched Barbie -- or plan to -- but I might have to watch Ryan's performance again. His peroxide blond hair is so off-putting (to me) for some reason.
You look pretty in pink and with your good weather you can wear light weight tops. I like to be comfortable so wear dark trousers with t shirts or sometimes more dressy outfits. Barbie has passed me by. Mr P enjoys certain movies. I did not watch the Oscars. Thank you for the trailer clip.
I only needed a few seconds of that trailer to tell me that's not my kind of movie...

I love your Barbie pink gown. It looks great on you. We did watch the movie but I have no need to see it again. Yes, Ryan Gosling did a great job with his dance. Those flamingos are cute. My sister in law would love them.
Barbie pink is my latest favorite color to dress the girls in...It just doesn't look the same on me lol

I have to say that those pink flamingo solar lights are tempting for me too but they are going to have to stay in the store.
Never have had any desire to watch the movie and Barbie dolls came along after my doll years..Granddaughters did have them though.

Shaye loved that movie and even got Andy to go. I saw Ryan Gosling - sing and dance - I was surprised! lol.

Everyone has said it - you do look good in Pink (that pink) - and why not colour your hair? Be daring - shocking pink hair!🤣 I have been thinking about making mine deep purple. I haven't seen any movies for years; well not in cinema - we watch movies on TV and Mr B seems to prefer old ones that he has seen before. Is he entering the age of nostalgia?
