Trees to You from Me... finish nature friday

Ginny asked if one of the trees in last week's photos was a banyan. No, but the one above I found this week end is a banyan, we found these on our Sunday morning drive Beau to the Park and then for a ride. Most of the trees below are live oaks of different types.

OOPS! I found another Spanish house.. can't help myself

They make a natural arbor above the street! And wow, the Banyon looks like a lot of trees!

Trees like that do so much to enhance a neighbourhood. It’s a pleasure to see them.

My goodness that's a huge Oak tree! How wonderful that it has survived all these years. Even out here in the country it's amazing when I find an Oak or Pine that old considering all the clearing and farming. Not complaining. It is what it is. I like the tall trees. Mature Pines bring a lot of Fox Squirrel in our area. I get so excited when I see one. They're really unique.
Nice Spanish home. My Mother-in-law (now passed) liked Spanish anything. Her furniture always reflected that.
Have a glorious day! I hope your leg(s) are better today!?
Blessings.

OH my word that tree makes the home look like a doll house.
It is huge. I would not want all those giant limbs hanging over my house especially during a 'hurrycane'
Hugs Cecilia
PS I hope your leg is feeling better

Funny girl! I wonder what they call that particular shade of pink/red?

That tree (3rd from the bottom) looks like it's just begging to be climbed. If I were 20 years younger, I just might!

Those trees are amazingly beautiful, not to mention, very large, Sandra. I have hard of and seen banyan trees before but can't remember where or when. hope you are recovering from the nasty fall.

Hi Sandra :=)
Those trees are definitely an asset to the neighbourhood. They are huge, and I wonder how old they are!

I agree with Ginny, some of these trees look like they came straight out of a fantasy book (thinking of 'Treebeard' in the Lord of the Rings series...)
