I have been putting a coffee can full of water on this bush every other day for a week. I do this to 6 bushes, trying to save them from drought, the water comes from my dishpan, and the rain barrel.
Yes, I noticed the photo is blurred. I LOVE IT! I had to stand on tiptoe holding the phone up and could not see what I was taking.
. Yes, they are not perfect, but they please me a lot. I love all three.
3 coffee cans of water in a week and the bush had 7 gorgeous blooms
My Label Hibiscus shows 79 post over 9 years, not bad. It has been a year since this bush had a flower.
At one time we had 3 pink bushes, 3 red 2 orange. we now have 1 orange and 1 red. All dead from lack of rain.

Yes, each has its merit. I love hibiscus and am sorry to read you lost some to drought. YAM xx
I really wish you would start getting rain...I miss your jungle and cannot imagine how you must feel.
I've always thought hibiscus were so pretty. That's too bad that all the ones you had are dead. I wouldn't be very good at watering. I always forget.
The hibiscus is one of my favorite plants, the blooms are so pretty.
I love the blurry images, the colors are beautiful. It is a good idea to save water for your plants. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
The treatment is obviously working. They look terrific.
Sorry to hear y'all are experiencing a drought. We had a long lasting drought that lasted for about 30 years until this year. Now when it rains it makes me so happy. I call it God's Special Blessing.
The photos are nice Sandra. Like another commenter said, very artistic. I enjoy your blog. It's always interesting.
Hope y'all both are feeling better today and can get out to enjoy the weather. 💙
MS purrsonally I too love the fuzzy photos. Reminds me of so many of the great and beautiful watercolors of very famous painters.

Okay I love the beautiful Hibiscus - do you know and I drink it sometimes there is Hibiscus tea?
How wonderful that you are taking care of them by watering while respecting your drought. Applauding here! Love all the photos, especially the first one which is so colorful and painting-like.
That's a lot of posts! So glad you try to keep the plants alive. Hibiscus are so pretty. We had yellow ones at this house but they got a disease and Mark had to remove them last year.
That is so bright and pretty, a real smile maker today!
That last bloom is absolutely exquisite. The 'blur' however, is pretty neat. Made me smile.
... and start humming that tune from Mary Poppins: "Just a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down, go down-wown, in a most delightful way!" See, you could sing to the plant, "Just a can-ful of water ...."
OK, I'll let myself out. hahaha.
Love the blurry photos, and hooray for you for managing to keeping some flowers alive in the drought!
Hibiscus are Delicious!

Those are beautiful!! I am happy they are thriving in spite of the drought and heat! I have never tried to grow Hibiscus here because we are in a little cooler zone and they are not so hardy in the winter and I would have to cover them up when we get a frost...and I am often too forgetful (or lazy) to do that...so I tend to plant only plants that I don't have to worry about getting frost-bitten! LOL. But I love that you are enjoying those beautiful flowers. It is certainly worth the extra effort you are making so that they can survive the heat!
You treat every livng thing in your life with such loving care:)

Thank you for the pictures! I hope you get some rain soon. Good for you for watering the hibiscus. It's amazing how much a little bit can help.
