HOPE

Thursday evening the downed fence to our neighbor's yard went back up and I thought, HOPE and I took this photo Friday morning after my walk with Beau. As we wandered along, Beau sniffed critter trails, and I captured another sign of

HOPE.

Also, the sun rises and the sun sets; And hastening to its place it rises there again.

Ecclesiastes 1:5 New American Standard Bible - NASB 1995 (NASB1995)

After watching this sunrise until it faded, I wandered around the desert that our Jungle Oasis has become, and there were signs of HOPE everywhere I looked.

A single red hibiscus on the ugly splintered bush that was 8 feet tall and is now a broken stick.

one red flower like a "phoenix rising from the ashes"

Weeds, rising like a "phoenix rising from the ashes."
The weeds and grass will return, there is hope the mud will be no more.
Rejoice! I love weeds. I don't love MUD/DIRT
Another thought of hope, if the world goes belly up, we have room to plant a garden. We have a hoe, a shovel, a rake and but wait! we have no seeds. YET.

We are thankful for these wonders appearing to bring us HOPE

Gorgeous sky! And amid all the dirt and mess, you see spots of real beauty!

After our 2011 fire we couldn't go up to the land for almost a month. When we went I took pictures of the little plants that were starting to grow amidst the devastation. I'm happy your plants are starting to come back. ❤️

So many signs of hope right there in your own yard.

Perhaps in a perverse way it takes a tragedy to make us notice these signs of hope. Even in the face of stark realism there can still be hope.

There's always hope isn't there!? And it's not false hope that the world offers but hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. The best hope of all. All this is temporary. Better things are comin' for those of us who put our trust in Him.
My favorite photos are the sunrise / sunset photos. They always make me smile.

How you've lifted my heart! I've always loved that phrase, "like Phoenix rising from the ashes" and the hibiscus bush is a wonderful illustration. The alpha and the omega. Isn't God so good.

These are all great signs of HOPE and what a Blessing that the Lord sends even the smallest thing to reassure us that HE knows right where we are. His love for us brings us HOPE even when we are frustrated. I admire you for getting out and finding the joyful things....
