The Spatulas, the Jar and the Sunshine

I read in the news that the black spatulas and spoons for nonstick cookware, are poisoning us. Despite the fact I have used them on the nonstick pans for half my life, I bought these bamboo utensils, and they work great and now I am waiting for the announcement of bamboo is killing us too
😉😉😉

While taking the bamboo photo, I opened the blinds that close out the heat from the blazing sun from the DIRT YARD WITH NO SHADE THAT MAKES ME HAVE TO KEEP THE BLINDS CLOSED and took this to show you what photography opps I am missing in my kitchen because I paid someone 3500 dollars to ruin my sunny kitchen photography to show all of you.

Please do not judge me because I did not dust the jar first.

I simply did not even SEE it until the photos were in the computer.
Please just focus on the jazzy looking shadows and picture in your mind what the jar would look like if it had no dust and if the blinds did not have to stay closed, I would have seen it and dusted it off
I LOVE MY BLINDS OPEN IN DAY AND CLOSED AT NIGHT.

This jar reflection is amazing. It almost looks like a living thing. You did make me laugh about waiting to hear that bamboo is now killing us. Anything that we love is bad for us and is killing us. The only good things are ones that we hate.

It seems that the powers that be will find a reason to say just about anything is bad for you.
Love the reflection from the jar. I didn't even notice the dust. Maybe because everything in my house is dusty so it just looked normal to me.

Hello,
I am sorry your lost your shade tree. I hope the bamboo is safe, I read it is a food that the Panda Bears love to eat. Cool reflection captures. Take care, have a great day!

It is impressive how you turn the ordinary into works of photographic art. On the black spoons, hubs just read how bad they are and tossed them out immediately. We have a set of spoons just like yours. Our old tree was a great shade giver. I still miss it.

Good grief, I use the black plastic too. It's all out to get us!
Very cool picture!

I missed that story about the black plastic. Yikes, those are our go-to.
That reflection really does look like a living organism ... an x-ray, even. I didn't even notice the dust until you mentioned it ... but I think that actually adds to the overall appeal of this photo.

Beautiful reflections!! Isn't it simply amazing the things that we sometimes miss just by overlooking them....like these reflections!! By the way,...it is a very cute jar. Seems like everyday, there is something new that our gov. says is killing us. In all honesty, I do try to refrain from using so much plastic...especially heating foods in the microwave in plastic. Very Impressive image here....Happy Tuesday!!

Sandra, from what I heard the nonstick pans are killing us anyway, so we should also go back to using cast iron... I still like to use my lightweight pans though - and even still use some of those black spatulas... (I have some wooden utensils too, though)

I missed the black plastic story too but I don't think I use mine enough to have to worry. I may even have wooden one too. I'm so sorry about your shade tree and it wasn't just the shade, we get really fond of our trees, living things that we take care of and that have been with us for a long time.

Terrific jazzy shadows and reflections.
I have a few black utensils and they aren't going to be thrown out any time soon. I'm still alive so will still use them when I need to. As others have said everything is going to "kill" us anyhow.
Hope you enjoyed your brunch at Golden Corral. Our closest one has closed and it got to be really awful. Dirty and the food was so below par we haven't been back for ages and now its gone..

Seriously, that sucks. We use one of those black ones too. That's a nice shot of the jar. Sorry you have to keep the blinds down because of the tree being gone.

I guess it's better without the tree instead of it going into your house.
