When you last saw the stump of the pine tree removed from our trashed yard, it looked like this, Our chainlink fence and NO privacy fence that had fallen over. The fence is UP and I got a bee in my bonnet to make that stump look better, I used the hose to find the rocks that were buried after I raked all the trash and put in the big blue trash can.. I have been watering it daily and stuff is starting to grow. I intended to plant ferns on it but gave out, to pooped to plant
I have small trees I could plant but the dirt has so many roots there is no way for us to dig a hole.
you can't see them, but there are two of these Emilia, aka Red Tassel Flowers, Bob found them in the side yard, I picked them and put in the glass and the next morning they were even more open.. I transplanted both plants in the stump pile. They are growing bigger each day. the link says they are invasive, Woo Hoo, invade that stump dear Emilia....

I love the hope name... we all should have something we give a name and maybe the wish we hope for will grow and comes true

Do you have any trees left on your property? I love how you care for the stumps, many people, me included, would just let them sit and be stumps.
What's that old saying, "Hope blooms eternal." I never heard of an Emilia, but love the name. Thank you for keeping us informed of your progress; as you know, lots of us are thinking of you every day.

Super cool flower! I've learned something new. I like pretty little flower and the name. Hope they do well there. You are indeed an inspiration to us all. By Spring the stump should also have mushrooms growing from it as God reclaims it to make more soil. It's all part of His beautiful plan to keep things clean for us.
