During the hurricanes and the last 2 months, ideas for post would pop in my head and I jotted them down in a small tablet. I found one that was a tiny drawing of a jukebox from my addled brain, and words that made no sense, and the writing so bad, it took a few minutes to read them. The words were;
Raindrops Keep Falling on my head, and I Told You So, Travis
I had not a clue what that meant. 3 days later I finally kind of remembered the idea.
Do you have a jukebox in your head? I do! I was standing in the yard with the sick dog, in the cold and FOG, heavy fog about 6 feet above the yard, the bird of paradise and sea grape trees have huge leaves. The fog was plopping like huge drops of rain, the next morning, while telling Bob about it, the song Rain Drops Keep Falling on my head started playing in my head.
The next day, as I said to Bob, I told you so, and I had, but I can't remember what he did... Doesn't Matter, later that day I had driven Bob and myself crazy, humming and whistling the song by Randy Travis I Told You So, over and over and over.
Do you have a jukebox in your head? Do you hear or read something and a song appears to play in your head? Last but not least, do you even know what a jukebox is? In 1958 we could play 5 songs for a quarter.

Yes I have played juke boxes! I guess they are a thing of the past now. I also like those tiny ones that are on the tables in diners. Have you seen them?
Like Ginny mentioned, we went to an old diner style a couple of weeks ago and they have those small jukeboxes on each table. For the first time ever we didn’t think to put a quarter in the machine.
Yup, that jukebox is playing in my head too. The trouble is that it doesn’t always play stuff I like so I guess someone else is putting coins in the slit and making their own choices. No idea who it is because they have terrible taste in music.
Did I leave my comment or has it disappeared?
Oh bother (said Pooh) now I've really messed thing up.
Juke boxes in your head are also called ear worms and it happens to me a lot of the time as well. Sometimes, it’s a good distraction from other things too.
First of all, I LOVE the picture of you dancing and singing with your pink flamingo jammies on! So cute!! And yes, I know what a jukebox is, and yes, I've used them, and yes, I have a jukebox in my head that often comes up with random songs from nowhere...yes, from the 50's, 60's, and then I usually skip a couple of decades while I was too busy having babies and raising a family to remember anything but nursery rhymes and lullabies, but then there are tons of gospel/sacred/contempory/hymns in my head that I can usually pull out and sing in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. They were never in a jukebox, however! LOL. Have a great day. I loved this.

Oh yes, earworms attack me quite often - but rarely songs. Tunes yes... favourite riffs from Rachmaninov or Chopin for example...🤷 YAM xx
Yes, yes, yes and yes. I do know what a jukebox is for sure. I remember the little ones that used to be on the tables in restaurants too. I know the song, raindrops keep falling on my head well and now that one will probably be stuck in my head today. I often have songs get stuck and sometimes I only know a few lines from them so I will hum that one line over and over.
I forgot to say that I really like your drawing of the jukebox.
Oh, yes, and it can be really annoying at times!
Cute images! Yes, I do remember those jukeboxes. I have many songs stuck in my head. Now it is the Raindrops keep falling on my head, BJ Thomas. LOL, It's your fault my brain is stuck on that song now. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.
Beautiful post
I do MS...I grew up listening to the radio so many wonderful songs instrumental and vocal back then.

I sure do! I remember juke boxes. My husband says I have a song for every occasion and they often play in my head.
Oh my! I get a song stuck in my head and sing it for days! Or hum it...that drives my hubby crazy! lol
I have the Biggest jukebox in my head.. Songs roll through it constantly. My friend Karen just shakes her head when we are with our son Steve and his family. It seems everything that is said brings up a song.. Sometimes I wish I had a "turn-off" switch, when it comes to a part of a song that after the 300th time is no longer "funny" haha..

Yes, I have a juke box in my head, all the time and sometimes I can't find the mute button fast enough!
I often have a jukebox in my head and it gets stuck on one song. lol. In our antiquie shopping trips, I will sometimes see an old jukebox. Of course, I am always drawn to them. I remember then from when I was a kid...and I thought the small ones that sat on the tables at the cafes, was so neat....we probably wore my dad out asking for money to put in the song boxes.
Yes, I am a walking jukebox! A lot of times photoscremindvmevof a song. Any time I see a male cardinal, I automatically have Sharp Dressed Man playing in my head. When I was young I worked the 4:00 to midnight shift. On Friday nights a girlfriend an I woukd head for this truck stop to get something to eat...they had the best burgers around! They also had the jukebox on the tables!
Oh, my goodness - I have played jukeboxes for real - loved them. And I play songs in my jukebox in my head all the time. It is cute how you drew them tho.
Yes, I have one in my head, and I love it! Now it's playing Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head.
I have ear worms of song snippets that play in my addled brain often. Never thought to call it a jukebox. I like your term better. I have to change the tempo sometimes by thinking about something else. Like, maybe sing an old Gospel hymn or something. That helps me.
Hope your day improves. Sending prayers and blessings. ☃️
I think it is great that you have songs playing in your head. I do at times have songs playing in my head. Sometimes it happens when I go to bed at night. I've been in such a bad place because of all of my health issues I never even played Christmas music which is something I have done every year.
I had to correct my comment somehow it made an error. I have been very ill. I got blood clots so I am on blood thinners. I loved to dance when I was a volunteer. I was known as the dancer to all the songs . Who would think I. You look wonderful. Now hope I can get in again.
