My long-time blogger friend, Ann, sent me the above left and said she was going to copy it. I quickly grabbed the iPad and the one on the left took 30 seconds.
I decided to see what popped in my head and started to PLAY
Do you think this will sell for millions after I am dead and gone? 😁 |
Another long-time blogger friend' Yam said to me a few days ago, just let your mind roam and paint what you feel. YIKES. This is what happened when I did that.
I started with a basket and 4 screaming /singing? eggs, I was carefully fitting the eggs in the basket when bob saw it, just the bottom of the basket and 4 eggs. As I sat drawing the basket below, Bob looked over at the screen and said why are you drawing that!!!? I answered I don't Know..... let me know in comments if you KNOW the answer because I don't KNOW.
I stared at the question marks and thought, I think I will see what I can add to this.
If you guessed I would add 2 of the 3 bunnies I drew a couple of weeks ago. you win the prize.
Of course there is NO PRIZE unless you want a copy emailed to you.
HEH HE HEH...

I have the answer to Bob's question, in two words: Stress Release. I like the last one!
Playing is crucial for our mental health nowadays. I love those eggs! 😊
Of course it could sell for millions but first you have to write some existentialism piece of prose that sets out its deeper meaning in words that no ordinary person could possibly interpret a clear meaning from.

Well, Easter is clearly on your mind! As for your multi-coloured feather duster - maybe not millions, but it could hold its place in the exhibition I am going to see on Monday! YAM xx
.....ohhh..... I put in a link to the New Contemporaries viewing online but Blogger has seen fit to cut that away from my comment!!! So here is the URL in full...

When Mallory was asked why he wanted to climb Everest his reply was, “Because it’s there.” So tell Bob you are drawing it because you can. And that’s reason enough. As for the abstract you hope might sell for millions of dollars when you have gone, let’s see if we can raise the money while you are still here. I’ll start the bidding at two bucks! Happy Saturday!
Well, all put together it makes a good Easter card...
The answer to why we do anything is always "because I can". No other reason is necessary.
I like Tiggers idea about writing a fancy description for your masterpiece to increase it's value.
I like the basket.
Why not draw it? Because you can! You can create anything that comes into your mind. I like the basket with the eggs and the bunnies. Have a happy weekend.
Drawing and coloring is a good release. And you never know what will become famous nowadays! Keep on keepin' on.
You're drawing it because it's the season, and also just to have fun and enjoy! I like the addition of your bunnies!
You are drawing because it’s fun and all your blogging friends love your creativity. Thanks to you and Ann and other blogging friends, I started drawing again. I will always be grateful to you for that. So please keep drawing! The imagination is a creative outlet that keeps our mind happy. Anything and everything is the key. I always enjoy what you do.
The splotch reminds me of a paw...that possibly walked thru some paint. Very nice. I say yes put a price on it. It will sale

I need to get a signed copy of one of your pieces of work...Who knows....Art is so different today! Expensive art doesn't only include paintings of famous people, or the scenery of the mountains and valleys. Your art could very well be on the auction block and sell for big prices...
If it gives you pleasure, that's the best reason for doing it.
I agree with all those above me - it makes you happy because you enjoy it. Plus you have talent and expressing that talent and sharing it with other is what art is about. Creativity comes from the Master of all Art - Creator God! You’re just doing what your Father planted inside for you to do.
What a dream team you and Ann make ... kind of like Martin and Lewis (hee-hee). I agree with Shug, I'll stand in like to get one of your originals. Why, if someone can duck tape a banana to canvas and sell for $6million, there's no reason the MadSnapper can't become the next Grandma Moses!
Love that you and Ann are having fun with art. The eggs and bunny remind me of spring/rebirth and holiday time.
I like that you listened to Ann and Yam. I have to say my favorite is the last one with the bunnies!
Why Not??? That's the question.. If it gives you joy and happiness why not? Keep those creative juices flowing. Maybe Bob needs to give the procreate a try. He'll appreciate your creations so much more. He needs a hobby..

I first thought the screaming eggs were because they had gotten so expensive that even the eggs were screaming about their high prices, because no one could afford to buy them for Easter and they were feeling sorry about all the little children who wouldn't be able to color them for the Easter egg hunt. But now the prices are coming down, and the Easter Bunny came along and said, "Don't worry little eggs, we're going to have a great Easter anyway! We'll tell the children about the REAL reason for Easter...Because Jesus lives, We Too Shall Live!! Hooray and Hallelujah!" So there...and that's the rest of the story! Keep drawing and painting...it brings out the creativity in all of us!! I love it!
We love your creativity! Just tell Bob you're doing what you enjoy.
I really like your art lots, it's fun!
Will it sell for millions after your passing? I dunno. Leave me in your Will and I'll let you know ... *giggle* /jk Love. ❤️
