Dan's Feline used to be Feral, Bandit, Living the life out of nature and into the house with a view of nature out the window. he can watch his siblings playing in the backyard while sunbathing. The General Store is Dan's workshop, and also holds the over flow of his collections of weird things. It looks close but is about 25 feet from the bedroom window. Michelle's computer is beside the window in the corner and this is his eye on mama and the out doors
For Nature Friday I give you archive photos from our back yard.

Cuban Tree Frog, also know as the loudest frogs EVER except I was louder when one jumped on my bare chest, and clung there with those sucky feet. |

I followed this Black Racer snake around the backyard taking photos, see he is looking at me. They are fast
this is another one that I followed in the side yard and he climbed the fence like lightning, weaving in and out of the fence and gone in a flash into the front yard. I warned him to be careful, its a busy street and not all humans like snakes.

WELL, when it comes to snakes, this may be the one thing you are fearless about!! I would run and scream. even at the tiny one. Bandit in the window is a beautiful photo.
Beautiful picture of Bandit, you are brave about the snakes.

What a lovely array of images you bring us today - proving that enjoying nature doesn't have to mean being far out in the sticks. Urban living has its own joys! YAM xx
These are Wonderful shots!!! Love Bandit
hugs

What a wonderful enlightened attitude you have towards these creatures. A Black Racer in the yard would bring great joy to me. Bravo, Sandra.
The snakes are interesting. I didn't realise how small some of them could be.
That frog is pretty cool but it would have me screaming if it jumped on me too. I'm not a fan of snakes but as long as they don't invade my personal space I can look at them.
Hello,
Who was more surprised you or the frog? The snakes are cool, as long as they are not poisonous. Yu son has a nice set up for the kitties! Take care, have a great day!
I remember Lenard! Those little sucky feet on the tree frog are adorable, but ya. I'd make some loud rude noises if one jumped on me, too.
Bandit looks like he's feeling "on top of the world, looking down on creation." Lucky kitty!
Dan's Bandit looks very happy in his cozy abode!
I enjoyed your nature pics today!
Bandit sure looks comfy! I do not like snakes of any kind. actually, I’m terrified of them! a few years ago, my neighbor chased me around the block with a dead snake.. lol. I just can’t!!
this is Shug!! lol. on my phone and I forget I have to post my name
Bandit is a delight and living his best life.
Your back yard is a natural zoo. I love all the varieties of reptiles.
Cuban Frog is new to me.
Hugs cecilia
I love your backyard nature shots.
So sorry but I do NOT like snakes. They give me the creeps. Great photos though. Love the feral kitty photos and the lizard too. As the weather warms up we are seeing a few lizards scooting across the patio. Boy are they fast.
Another gray day. Its only 57F now and the soothsayers say it will only be 63F for a high.
It seems to be a puttering day for me today. I don't feel very motivated at the moment.

Bandit looks comfortable. Like the pictures you shared but I certainly am not a fan of snakes.
We love seeing the nature in your yard and don't doubt that our mom would have screamed just as loud (if not louder) had a frog jumped on her chest too. BOL!
What cool animals you have in your corner of Florida...and Bandit is one lucky kitty cat to have your son as a Dad!
OH such cool pics and stories! I love the picture of Bandit in the window. That is special. And the other reptiles and critters, all so Floridian! Fun pictures. Thanks for sharing with us.
It's so nice to see sweet Bandit living hte good life! That's a bunch of snakes at your place!
Bandit is so cute.
But Sandra, no snakes for this girl - no way - no how.
I can't believe a frog jumped on you! YIKES
I had to laugh about the frog who jumped on you! 😂 Bandit looks happy and content! And it’s a hard NO on those racer snakes. I’ve never seen one and never want to. They remind me of those black cottonmouth snakes. No way. I much prefer our California rattlers. They are shy and unless you’re hiking around rocky areas you rarely see them. Plus they are quite beautiful. This is their season. They are coming out more now.
I love all your reptilian wildlife (and Bandit is as cute as ever - I miss kitty fixes)
You have the loveliest wildlife in your yard and the photo of Bandit is very cute too. The frog that jumped on you is a handsome looking one. It would startle me too.
You have lots of nature, or maybe I should say did have. Bandit is one lucky kitty.
