Tips for YOU

I am always looking for ways to hide the fact I am eating Oatmeal! I toast oats, sunflower nuts, Rasins in Ninja Oven, I like a handful as a snack or eat it with a little soy milk for breakfast, mixed with rice cereal or cheerios.
I found a recipe on Mari's blog, My Little corner of the world, for homemade granola bars. You can get her recipe on the link. I have a short list of what I can eat due to IBS.
I made only one bar. I had just enough oats toasted for one bar.
I simply added maple syrup, natural crunchy peanut butter to the oats, Rasins, stirred, pressed it down into a bar, and left it in the fridge. Mari used honey; honey doesn't like me.
I just break off a small piece with a fork and that is my snack and hidden heathy food that is yum

Olives are a good source fiber, taste, and have 7 good reasons to eat them. One of those benefits is aid the digestive system. I put them in my rice pasta salads with yellow peppers..

I changed sugar to sugar cubes, because My hubby's hands shake, and he has memory issues and when he spills sugar on the counter, he doesn't remember to wipe it up. in Florida we have any problems.
I store the 1 lb of cubes in 2 containers that are easy for him to hold and keep the small container, because he can pull out 2 cubes with fingers and drop in his coffee.
No sugar on the counters. I eat zero sugar and don't bake, and this is working well.

Your sugar idea for Bob is genius!! When I was newly married, I made a lot of granola, and did macrame and tie-dye.

We don't use sugar either...its not good for so many reasons.
Ants are troublesome around here too, esp when the weather warms up.
I love how you improvised the sugar problems for Bob, you are a genius!
