UPDATE on My Daddy's Infusion. I am so exhausted I can't stand up to talk, and this is also how Mama and Daddy look.
Just the facts and Mama will be back in a day or two.
The first day of infusion RN was here 9.5 hours, 2nd day 7.5 hours
Daddy got 4 bottles each day, it takes 6 hours 20 minutes for 4 bottles to drip.
He will get another one on the 28th of this month.
He has seen no change, not expected to for 3 to 5 days, he feels tired and achy and like he had been sick with flu. Expected.
Mama got an infected place on her arm, and the 2nd day went to the doctor and left me and Daddy with the nurse and is on antibiotics orally and on the infected spot.
Mama is not happy with what the Nurse told her, because they did not tell us any of this before it began.
He will need the 6 hour infusion every 3 weeks for the rest of his life, if it helps, and his audio immune system will be destroyed, which is what the Drug does. She said the disease is shutting down the immune system because it is fighting with the protein and trying to heal,and it can't, and to stop it, they shut it down.
The RX uses plasma from other humans protein and has a slight chance of a contagious disease.
We are continuing to see what the Drug will correct, and with the PT coming once a week. We have the choice of home or in the office. We will continue at home although we despise it, until we can make a decision.
It all depends on what happens.

I have an issue with my poop and might have to go to the VET.
Mama is in a MOOD and when out of it will continue here. The disease, the treatment and the dementia makes all this even more difficult
Mama thinks this is a carcinoma, she has similar one twice before like it, and that the primary will send her to dermatologist after next wed visit. The PA she saw said it could be, wait until the infection is gone.
