The good life

One of my favorite authors is Susan May Warren  and this quote found several months ago in one of her books, is saved and I read it over and over. I thought how inappropriate these photos of Beau are, but he is so happy now with our life, because he is never alone.

You might need to read this quote slowly again and again to GET IT! Had a bad night last night after a super great visit from Dan and Michelle doing a very long To Do list for mama. I went to this quote.  and I pray I can Do it!

“Sometimes, all you’re called to do is stand.” “Stand?”Fraser said.

“Yep. Be. Believe. Hold on. Stand. Our best hope in the middle of confusion and chaos is not to try and solve our problems ourselves but to simply remember whose we are and who we hope in. You stay rooted in the middle of a storm—darkness, confusion, chaos—by putting your focus on the One who is stronger than the storm.”   Jonas, book 2 of (the Minnesota Marshalls)  author, Susan May Warren Yellow highlight | Page: 215
Yes, I can stand, else how could I get from the living room floor to the grass outside, Mama is just not quick enough with the cell phone or maybe she can't use it while walking. ha ha

Great to hear from you, Sandra. It's good to know that there are bright spots in the gloom.

Oh how I love to see a happy dog. I liked the quote, putting our trust in the One who calms the storm. Amen!

Yes, indeed. That quote is great and right on. Sometimes all we can do is stand and let the one who gives us hope be our stand-in in each storm.
Love your feeling more happiness today and that your son and wife really knocked it out of the park for you.
Beau sure looks content!
