By the light, by the light of my cute little lamps

Gold bathroom, shade looks black, living room, shade looks gray

I received Amazon Gift cards for my Birthday and since my kitchen fluorescent ceiling light HUMS LOUDLY since Son Dan put the new bulbs in, I chose to light my kitchen, Lamps. Rechargeable Led and easily moved anywhere I need them.
Each is in 3 sections, from 8, to 12 to 20 inches tall. Above is the 8 inches.
The lamp and shade is white.
Three light modes, warm, cool, daylight, and each one changes the color of the shade, and also the shade changes colors according to where I sit them.
I sit one on the table while we eat breakfast, and we watch our reflections in the sliding glass doors

We are hanging OUT/on by the light of my bright little lamps.

these are photos of the reflection of Bob in the glass.
to be continued ....

I am a great fan of lamps rather than overhead lighting. Sets an ambience, feels more intimate, and - usually - is more targeted to task! Lovely shots... YAM xx

A romantic touch indeed. A gentle, subdued atmosphere no doubt contributes to tranquility during a very difficult time. You are amazing!

Cute little lamps. They not only provided you with light but they gave you photo ops too.

What you didn't mention was that Beau was also in that reflection with Bob, and it was a picture of love and trust. I love that, and I would cling to that if I were you. It is a picture to be remembered on the bad days when things aren't so bright. I love your little lamps! What a great idea! Rechargeable batteries? So nice they don't have cords and you can take them anywhere! What a great idea!!!! Thank you for sharing these with us. I enjoyed them all.

Those lamps are lovely. I hate overhead lights and feel as though I'm subject to the Inquisition.

What cute lamps. Good purchase.
I like lamps too. All types of lamps. In fact I have been known to collect cute unique lamps to put here and there. My husband likes overhead lighting - argh! 😖 As I get older, overhead lighting bothers my eyes.

Nice little lamps! That would be a grand idea to have when the power fails. I'm gonna look for those on Amazon. Thanks for the idea!
Bob and Beau are looking good. I pray that continues. Extra prayers always my dear.
Love & Blessings. ❤️

I love them! It's so nice to have soft lighting, especially with winter months coming up. Hugs to you both. I hope today is a better day.

Oh, that is such a smart way to use your Amazon gift cards. Dealing with a loud, humming fluorescent light is the worst, so swapping it out for those cute, versatile rechargeable LED lamps is a huge upgrade. I love that they have three light modes, and it’s so neat how the shades appear to change color depending on the setting and the room they are in! Watching your and Bob's reflections in the glass during breakfast sounds like a really sweet new morning ritual. www.melodyjacob.com

Soft light is so comforting too...the older I get the less I like bright lights. This time of year we really enjoy our fairy lights..

Great use for your gift cards. Love the reflective photos of Bob and Beau. The lamps really do give off plenty of light and will definitely help in the stormy times.
(hugs) and prayers continuing.

Cool reflections! I love the idea of these little battery operated lights; Tom's all the time saying he can't see to read when he sits at the kitchen bar. Never thought about power outages until I read Sue's comment. I definitely need to visit Amazon.

Those are just like having candles to light your space. Quite romantic, not to mention practical.
Nice to see you enjoying your meal in that nice soft lighting.

Prayers continue for your wellbeing, no matter the circumstances...God is being near to you; may you feel His presence.

(I had felt the need to visit here, during my ongoing blog break, taking care of other 'stuff'...)

I like the recharge lights too. We have a few of those for reading, reading clippy lights. But I like yours a lot. Very cool.

What cool lamps! I may get a couple soon, just to have on hand for things.

Cordless lamps? Cool! LED is the way to go, too. We've gotten a lot of our flourscent fixtures replaced with LED's. Say hi to Bob and Beau from me and the pups.

Those are cute lamps and nice that they don't even have to be plugged in.

Those lamps look really nice. Sorry that your kitchen ceiling light hums. Can it be fixed?
